Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders

TUNBRIDGE WELLS AREA

B2079 BEDGEBURY ROAD, GOUDHURST, TN17 1EA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow overhead cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2079 Bedgebury Road, Goudhurst, on or after 13th November 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Whitestocks Cottages. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2079 Bedgebury Road, B2079 Balcombes Hill, A262 The Plain, A262 West Road, A262 Clayhill, A262 Station Road, A262 Spelmonden Road, A262 Goudhurst Road, A262 Horsmonden Road, A21 Forstal Farm Roundabout, A21 Lamberhurst By-pass, A21 Scotney Castle Roundabout, A21 Hastings Road, A21 London Road, B2079 Lady Oak Lane, B2079 Bedgebury Road and vice versa.

B2162 LAMBERHURST ROAD, HORSMONDEN, TN12 8DR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow cable renewal works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2162 Lamberhurst Road, Horsmonden, on or after 28th October 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junction of Ruck Lane to Sprivers Cottages. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2162 Lamberhurst Road, B2162 Horsmonden Road, A262 Goudhurst Road, A262 Spelmonden Road, A262 Station Road, A262 Clayhill, A262 West Road, A262 The Plain, B2079 North Road, Ballards Hill, Goudhurst Road, The Heath, B2162 Lamberhurst Road and vice versa.

CRANBROOK ROAD, FRITTENDEN, TN17 2DJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow new water connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Cranbrook Road, Frittenden, on or after 28th October 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Parish Avenue development. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via The Street, Headcorn Road, Staplehurst Road, Frittenden Road, A229 Cranbrook Road, A229 Knoxbridge, A229 Rocks Hill, A229 Camden Hill, A229 The Common, Common Road, Frittenden Road, Cranbrook Road and vice versa.

HALLS HOLE ROAD, A264 PEMBURY ROAD & SANDROCK ROAD, ROYAL TUNBRIDGE WELLS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, NO RIGHT TURN & NO LEFT TURN) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow the Dunorlan Firework event to be held, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on parts of Halls Hole Road, A264 Pembury Road & Sandrock Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 2nd November 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

Halls Hole Road will be closed from the junction of Bayhall Road to the junction of Cornford Lane, between the hours of 17:00 and 21:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

A264 Pembury Road will be closed from the junction of Sandhurst Road to the junction of Sandrock Road from 19:30, for up to 30 minutes, to allow crowds to disperse.

A264 Pembury Road will have a No right-turn & No left-turn restrictions imposed onto Sandrock Road.

There will be a No right-turn imposed on Sandrock Road onto A264 Pembury Road.

The alternative route for any Halls Hole Road through traffic is via Halls Hole Road, A264 Pembury Road, Bayhall Road, Halls Hole Road and vice versa.

The alternative route for any A264 Pembury Road through traffic is via Sandrock Road, Lansdowne Road, Garden Road, Camden Road, Quarry Road, Grosvenor Bridge, Upper Grosvenor Road, Sandhurst Road and vice versa.

LANGTON ROAD, SPELDHURST, TN3 0NS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow electric works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Langton Road, Speldhurst, on or after 28th October 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Dragonfly Farm. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Langton Road, Speldhurst Hill, Etherington Hill, Speldhurst Road, A26 St Johns Road, A26 Mount Ephraim, A264 Mount Ephraim, A264 Bishops Down, A264 Langton Road, The Green, Speldhurst Road, Langton Road and vice versa.

RIDGEWAY, PEMBURY, TN2 4HP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow gas main replacement to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ridgeway, Pembury, on or after 18th November 2024 for up to 36 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from 20 to 94. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Ridgeway, Lower Green Road, Ridgeway and vice versa.

WATERMANS LANE, PADDOCK WOOD, TN12 6LY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow drain cleaning works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Watermans Lane, Paddock Wood, on or after 31st October 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Moatlands Cottage and Birdie Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Watermans Lane, Chantlers Hill, Mascalls Court Road, Mascalls Court Lane, Mile Oak Road, Watermans Lane and vice versa.
