What is happening?

Mae Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam yn bwriadu gwneud GORCHYMYN (GWAHARDD TRAFFIG TRWODD) DROS DRO dan Adran 14(1) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 a ddaw i rym ar 05/11/24 yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio’r rhan honno o Crogen, Y Waun o’r gyffordd gyda’r B5070, i gyfeiriad y dwyrain am bellter o 225 metr fel y gall Lewis & Hunter roi wyneb newydd ar y ffordd gerbydau ar ran Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam.

Bydd y ffordd amgen ar gyfer cerbydau a effeithir gan gau’r ffordd ar hyd Crogen, Offa a Wern a bydd arwyddion i ddangos hyn. Bydd y ffordd ar agor i gerddwyr gydol y cyfnod cau.

Disgwylir i’r gwaharddiad bara am 11 o ddiwrnodau gwaith, neu lai os cyflawnir y gwaith yn gynt, ac ni fydd yn para ddim mwy na 18 mis.

Wrexham County Borough Council intends to make a TEMPORARY (PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 effective from 05/11/2024 prohibiting any vehicle from using that length of Crogen, Chirk from its junction with B5070 in an easterly direction for a distance of 225 metres to enable Lewis & Hunter to resurface the carriageway on behalf of Wrexham County Borough Council.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure is via Crogen, Offa and Wern which will be signposted accordingly. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The prohibition is expected to last for 11 working days, or until completion of the works if earlier, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
