Derby Road - Temporary Road Closure For Bridge Joint Replacement On Structures Over A50
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE DERBY ROAD, ASTON-UPON-TRENT
WHEN: 28 October to 02 November 2024 (20:00 to 05:00)
WHERE: Derby Road, Aston-upon-Trent between its Jct. with B5010 London Road and its Jct. with Hillcrest.
REASON: To facilitate bridge joint replacement on structures over A50.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B5010 London Road, Aston Lane, Shardlow Road, The Green, Derby Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
