(Elmbank Avenue, Kilmarnock, - Town Centre) (Temporary Road Closure, Suspension of Restrictions and Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2024
On 22nd October 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to maintain road safety during the holding of this years Remembrance Sunday Ceremony
Road Closure – Elmbank Avenue, Kilmarnock, from the junction of Elmbank Drive to the edge of London Road and the front of the Dick Institute.
No Waiting At Any Time – Elmbank Avenue, Kilmarnock, from the junction of Elmbank Drive to the edge of London Road and the front of the Dick Institute.
The Order commences on 09 November 2024 from 09 November 2024 at 17:00 until 10 November 2024 at 13:00.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order restrictions will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period

(B705, Catrine) (Temporary Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting)Order 2024
On 22nd October 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Carriageway/Footway Resurfacing
Temporary Road Closure – B705, Catrine - Westwards for 86m from junction Sorn Street
No Waiting At Any Time - B705, Catrine - Westwards for 86m from junction Sorn Street (Both Sides)
The Order commences on 11 November 2024 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 11 November 2024 at 08:00 until 22 November 2024 at 17:00
The road is expected to be closed between 08:00 and 17:00 each day (Monday to Friday) with it being open out-with these times.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained whenever possible and safe to do so.
An alternative route will be signed via B713 turning left onto B743 Main Street travel until A76 turn left travel before re-joining B705 and Vice Versa.

On 17th October 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the abovenamed Order to allow Ayr Christmas Event
Temporary Road Closure – High Street, Newmarket Street, Ayr - Town Centre, High Street from junction of Alloway Street/ Kyle street to Junction of New Bridge Street Newmarket Street entire length.
No Waiting At Any Time - High Street, Newmarket Street,Ayr - Town Centre, High Street from junction of Alloway Street/ Kyle street to Junction of New Bridge Street (both sides)

The Order commences on 17 November 2024 . The event is expected to commence from 17 November 2024 at 00:01 until 17 November 2024 at 23:59
The days and times of the event may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Access for Emergency Services and Pedestrians will not be affected.
An alternative route will be signed via Kyle Street, Smith Street, A70, Station Road, John Street, A719, New Bridge Street.

( Hadyard Terrace, Daily) (Temporary Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2024
On 17th October 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Scottish Power Works
Temporary Road Closure – Hadyard Terrace, Daily
From No.71 Hadyard Terrace to junction with Church Crescent.
No Waiting At Any Time - Hadyard Terrace, Daily
