TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE 407586 MIDDLE STREET, UPLANDS

(STR0UD PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 407586 Middle Street, Uplands from its junction with Springfield Road to outside of the property known as 'Blockley Cottages' for a distance of approximately 45 metres.

The reason for the closure is for pipe installation works by Severn Trent Water.

The said road is expected to be closed from 28th October 2024 until 31st October 2024 only or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.

Alternative Route – as signed on site. Emergency access, and pedestrian access to premises on or next to the road, will be maintained.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF A4173 GLOUCESTER ROAD, EDGE

(PITCHCOMBE PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of A4173 Gloucester Road, Edge from outside the property known as 'Pen-y-gar' to outside of the property known as 'The Rectory' for a distance of approximately 155 metres.

The reason for the closure is for felling works.

The road is expected to be closed from 09:30hrs on the 28th October 2024 until 15:30hrs on the 31st October 2024 only or until the works have been completed, whichever is the later. Alternative Route – as signed on site. Pedestrian access to properties will be maintained where safe to do so, and emergency access will be maintained.

The reason for the closure is for gas main replacement works.

The reason for the said closure is for pole replacement works.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of 401452 Watledge Road from outside of the property known as 'Shears Cottage' to outside of the property known as 'Springers' for a distance of approximately 40 metres.

The reason for the closure is for the installation of underground electrical services.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401447 Box Cottage from outside of the property known as 'Hope Cottage' to outside of the property known as 'Beehive House', for an approximate distance of 80 metres.

The reason for the closure is for third-party maintenance works by Severn Trent Water.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C265 St Stephens to Bath Road from outside of the property known as 'The Cottage' to outside of the property known as 'Hawkes' for a distance of approximately 140 metres.

The reason for the closure is to allow access for cherry picker for telecoms maintenance.

PUBLIC PATH CREATION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER – S26 HIGHWAYS ACT 1980/ S53 WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

PUBLIC FOOTPATH CONNECTING FOLLY LANE AND BEECHES GREEN STROUD PARISH CREATION ORDER 2024

The above Order made on 18th October 2024 under Section 26 of the Highways Act 1980, and Section 53 (2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, if confirmed as made, will create a public footpath. A length of public footpath connecting Folly Lane and Beeches Green in the parish of Stroud in the County of Gloucestershire that commences at its junction with the eastern end of highway number 47639 known as Folly Lane at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) 85045/0547 and ends in a south easterly direction for approximately 65 metres to OSGR 85087/0543 at its junction with highway number A46 known as Beeches Green.

A copy of the order and plan may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Gloucestershire County Council, Shire Hall, Westgate Street, Gloucester GL1 2TG and the Stroud District Council, Ebley Mill, Westward Road, Stroud, Glos, GL5 4UB. Copies of the Order and plan may be obtained free of charge by contacting the Asset Data (Highway Records & DMMO) Team Leader at the above address (please quote reference 573/11/24(17)).

Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the Asset Data (Highway Records & DMMO) Team Leader, Gloucestershire County Council, Shire Hall, Westgate Street, Gloucester, GL1 2TH not later than 20 November 2024. Please state the grounds on which it is made. (Please quote reference 573/11/24(17)). If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Gloucestershire County Council, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State for confirmation, may itself confirm the Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for confirmation, any representations or objections that have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
