Temporary One-Way Traffic Restriction Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above order dated 21st October 2024 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to impose a temporary one-way restriction over an area of highway being A39 Between Falmouth Road Roundabout And Roundabout East Of Hillhead Farm Penryn for its entire length in a Westerly to Easterly direction. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out gully emptying and seasonal maintenance.
The Order will come into operation on 7th November 2024 and the works are expected to be completed by the 8th November 2024.The restriction will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600 on a daily basis weekdays only.
Nothing in this order will apply to anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Mullion. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 20th November 2024 to 21st November 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. Road affected - Ghost Hill, Nansmellyon Road, Mullion between the junction of Nansmellyon Road and grid reference SW67342 18344.

This prohibition is necessary for reinstatement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 20th November 2024 to 21st November 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1600, weekdays only.
Road affected - Glasney Road, Falmouth between property number 14 and the junction of Beacon Road.

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 18th November 2024 to 20th November 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 29th October 2024 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Nine Maidens, Four Lanes between grid references SW67847 37149 and SW68206 37024. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the highway to carry out ducting works.
The Order will come into operation on 30th October 2024 and the works are expected to be completed by the 13th November 2024.The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
The road was previously closed for reasons of public safety by notice under Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 9th October 2024 for a period of 21 days.
Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian and Vehicular access to residents and businesses will be maintained.
