Dartford, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

DARTFORD AREA

B260 MAIN ROAD, LONGFIELD, DA3 7PF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of a sewer cover replacement in the carriageway, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B260 Main Road, Longfield, on or after 29th October 2024 for up to 1 night between 21.00hrs and 05.00hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside 48A.

The alternative route is via B260 Main Road, Hartley Road, Station Road and vice versa.

ALKERDEN LANE, SWANSCOMBE, DA9 9LY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Alkerden Lane and Manor Road, Swanscombe, on or after 31st October 2024 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed. The roads will not be closed at the same time.

Alkerden Lane will be closed at the junction with Mounts Road and outside number 15 on Manor Road.

The alternative route is via Alkerden Lane, Milton Street, Milton Road, High Street, A226 London Road, Knockhall Road, Mounts Road and vice versa.

SCHOOL LANE, BEAN, DA2 8AP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of School Lane, Bean, on or after 28th October 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between number 160 and Drudgeon Farm.

The alternative route is via B255 Southfleet Road, B262 Betsham Road, Park Corner Road, Sandy Lane and vice versa.

SUMMERHOUSE DRIVE, BEXLEY, DA5 2EP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Thames Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Summerhouse Drive, Bexley, on or after 30th October 2024 for up to 1 night between 20:00hrs and 06:00hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Eden Road and number 62.

The alternative route is via Summerhouse Drive, Birchwood Road, Leyton Cross Road, Oakfield Lane, A2018 Old Bexley Lane/Dartford Road, Baldwyns Park, Tile Kiln Lane and vice versa.
