What is happening?

Mae Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam yn bwriadu gwneud GORCHYMYN (GWAHARDD TRAFFIG TRWODD) DROS DRO dan Adran 14 (1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 a fydd mewn grym o 04/11/2024 yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio’r rhan honno o Ffordd Tanyfron, Tanyfron o bwynt 36m i’r de-ddwyrain o’i chyffordd gyda Allt y Coleg, Tanyfron ar hyd y rhan unffordd am bellter o 76m. Yn ychwanegol, o bwynt 36m i’r de-ddwyrain o’i chyffordd gyda Allt y Coleg, i gyfeiriad y gogledd-ddwyrain am bellter o 30m i alluogi Wales & West Utilities i osod prif bibell nwy yn y briffordd.

Bydd y ffordd amgen ar gyfer cerbydau a effeithir gan gau’r ffordd ar hyd Ffordd Treftadaeth, Park Road a Ffordd Tanyfron, a bydd arwyddion i ddangos hyn. Bydd y ffordd ar agor i gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.

Mae disgwyl i’r gwaharddiad bara am 4 wythnos neu lai os bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau’n gynt, ond dim mwy na 18 mis.

Rydym yn croesawu gohebiaeth yn Gymraeg. Byddwn yn ymateb i unrhyw ohebiaeth yn Gymraeg ac ni fydd hyn yn arwain at unrhyw oedi.

Wrexham County Borough Council intends to make a TEMPORARY (PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 effective from 04/11/2024 prohibiting any vehicle from using that length of Tanyfron Road, Tanyfron from a point 36m south-east of its junction with College Hill, Tanyfron along its one-way section for a distance of 76m. Additionally, from a point 36m south-east of its junction of College Hill, in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 30m to enable Wales and West Utilities to replace the gas mains in the carriageway.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure is via Heritage Way, Park Road, and Tanyfron Road, which will be signposted accordingly. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The prohibition is expected to last for 4 weeks, or until completion of the works if earlier, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
