What is happening?

Portsmouth City Council (Widley Court Drive) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.148) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 5th November 2024 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
WIDLEY COURT DRIVE
In its entirety.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate CityFibre works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 5th November 2024 to 18th November 2024 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above, works will take place in 30 metre sections as notified by signage and letters to residents in advance of works taking place.
