What is happening?

TASBURGH - U76001 Saxlingham Lane from 450m northeast of its junction with Grove Lane for 20m north-eastwards to facilitate Anglian Water meter exchange works between 08:00 and 17:00 on 21st October 2024 (may continue until the 2nd December 2024). Alternative route is via: U76001 Saxlingham Lane, Grove Lane, Church Road, A140 Ipswich Road, Tasburgh Road (Tasburgh, Saxlingham Nethergate).

YAXHAM - C200 Station Road from 100m south of its junction with U31728 Driors Grove for 50m southwards to facilitate works for a new water connection from 21st to 23rd October 2024 (may continue until 4th December 2024). Alternative route is via: C200 Station Road/Shipdham Road/Birds Corner, A1075 Dereham Road/Shipdham Road/South Green/Tavern Lane/Yaxham Road, B1135 Yazham Road/Dereham Road and vice versa (Whinburgh and Westfield, Dereham, Yaxham, Shipdham).

BURNHAM MARKET - Ringstead Road from its junction with Whiteway Road for 30m westwards to facilitate drainage scheme works from 21st to 27th October 2024 (may continue until 8th December 2024). Alternative route is via: Whiteway Road, Main Road, Dalegate Road, Ringstead Road (Burnham Norton, Burnham Market, Brancaster).

CASTLE RISING - Grimston Road from 140m west of its junction with A149 for 558m westwards to facilitate Norfolk County Council offline works and on carriageway works from 21st October to 8th November 2024 (may continue until 20th December 2024). Alternative route is via: Grimston Road, Queen Elizabeth Way, Gayton Road, Wootton Road (Castle Rising, South Wootton, Bawsey, Grimston).

DERSINGHAM - Sherborne Road from its junction with C474 Admirals Drive for 211m south eastwards to facilitate Anglian Water installation of new valves, kiosk and chamber from 21st October to 1st November 2024 (may continue until 13th December 2024). Alternative route is via: Shernborne Road, Church Lane, Manor Road, Doddshill Road, Admirals Drive.

FINCHAM - Marham Road from 100m north of its junction with Main Road for 130m northwards to facilitate footway paving and drainage works from 21st to 27th October 2024 (may continue until 8th December 2024). Alternative route is via: Marham Road, Main Road, Swaffham Road, Chalk Lane, Narborough Road, The Street, Shouldham Road, Norwich Road (Shouldham, Barton Bendish, Beachamwell, Fincham, Marham, Narborough).

HOCKWOLD-CUM-WILTON - Cowles Drove BOAT8 from 1000m west of its junction with Cross Drove for 1000m westwards to facilitate Norfolk County Council installation of drainage pipes from 21st to 25th October 2024 (may continue until the 6th December 2024). Alternative route is via: Hockwold-Cum-Wilton Byway, Station Road, Black Dyke Road.

KING'S LYNN - Vancouver Avenue from its junction with South Gates Roundabout for 500m north-eastwards to facilitate Norfolk County Council resurfacing works from 28th October to 1st November 2024 (may continue until the 13th December 2024). Alternative route is via: Hardwick Road, Out South Gates, Scania Way, Queen Elizabeth Way, Gayton Road, Lynn Road, Gaywood Road (North Runcton, Bawsey, King's Lynn).

NORTH WOOTTON - Ling Common Road from 60m west of its junction with Little Carr Road for 25m westwards to facilitate Norfolk County Council pavement construction works from 25th October to 1st November 2024 (may continue until the 13th December 2024). Alternative route is via: Ling Common Road, Lynn Road, Castle Rising Road, Priory Lane, The Green (Castle Rising, South Wootton, North Wootton).

OUTWELL - Hall Road from 100m southwest of its junction with Marsh Road for 50m south-westwards to facilitate Anglian Water pipe repair works from 22nd to 24th October 2024 (may continue until the 5th December 2024). Alternative route is via: Hall Road, Wisbech Road, Downham Road, Langhorns Lane, Stow Road, Marsh Road.

RYSTON - Manor Lane from 400m north of its junction with Hilgay Road for 500m northwards to facilitate Anglian Water mains instalment works from 21st October to 8th November 2024 (may continue until the 20th December 2024). Alternative route is via: Manor Lane, Hilgay Road, Downham Road, Ryston Road, Ryston Hall Estate (West Dereham, Ryston).

SHOULDHAM - Westgate Street from 500m north of its junction with Mill Road for 50m northwards to facilitate Anglian Water pipe repair works from 21st to 23rd October 2024 (may continue until the 4th December 2024). Alternative route is via: Westgate Street, Fairstead Drove, New Road, Eastgate Street, The Green, Lynn Road.

SOUTHERY - Southery Footpath 7 from 100m south of its junction with Methwold Bridleway 16 for 10m southwards to facilitate Anglian Water pipe laying from 22nd October 2024 to 1st April 2025 (previously 1st to 21st October 2024). Alternative route is via: Southery Footpath 8. NB please note that access will be under gated control by Anglian Water.

SOUTHERY - Bridleway 4 from its junction with Southery Footpath 7 for 200m northwards to facilitate Anglian Water pipe laying from 23rd October 2024 to 31st March 2025 (previously 2nd to 22nd October 2024). Alternative route is via: Southery Bridleway 4. NB please note that access will be under gated control by Anglian Water.

STOW BARDOLPH - Stow Bardolph Footpath FP18 from its junction with Outwell Road (Mortons Bridge) for 698m southwards to facilitate Balfour Beatty silt removal from river works from 19th October 2024 to 29th March 2025 (may continue until 18th April 2025). Alternative route is via: N/A.

STOW BARDOLPH - Stow Bardolph Footpath 19 from its junction with Outwel Road (Mortons Bridge) for 535m southwards to facilitate sil removal from river from 19th October 2024 to 31st March 2025 (may continue until 18th April 2025). Alternative route is via: N/A.

UPWELL - Horsehead Drove from 50m west of its junction with Cock Fen Road for 50m westwards to facilitate Anglian Water new connection works from 21st to 23rd October 2024 (may continue until the 4th December 2024). Alternative route is via: Horsehead Drove, Flint House Road, Silt Road, Main Road.

WIGGENHALL ST. GERMANS - Mill Road from 1500m east of its junction with Thiefgate Lane for 125m eastwards from 22nd to 24th October 2024 (may continue until the 5th December 2024). Alternative route is via: Mill Road, St Germans Road, Lynn Road, Watlington Road, Church Road, School Road, Station Road, St Peters Road (Watlington, Wiggenhall St. Germans, West Winch, Tottenhill, Runcton Holme).

Unless otherwise stated, the effect of these Orders will be to prohibit the use by vehicles of the named road(s)/footpath(s). In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance. Where an Order s for a reason other than works it is because of the likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road/footpath. Anticipated dates are stated but the Orders may continue until the end date where necessary or required. The Orders are revoked on the end date or on the actual date of removal of the prohibition/restriction where earlier without further notice. If necessary, the restrictions can have a maximum duration of 18 months for vehicular highway or 6 months for non-vehicular highway. Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.

Anticipated dates are stated but the Orders may continue until the end date where necessary or required.
