What is happening?

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL BOAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1102 THE STREET, WORLINGTON

Suffolk County Council Intends to make an order closing the B1102

The Street, Worlington from no. 37 for 30 metres eastbound to

facilitate an electrical connection. Other co-ordinated works may

also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1102, the A1101, the A11,

the B1085, the B1104, the B1102 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 30/10/2024 -

01/11/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for

18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U2074 BOYTON ROAD, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U2074 Boyton Road, Ipswich from Shenley Road to no. 10 Boyton Road to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be Mildmay Road, Nacton Road, Maryon Road, Maybury Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate from 30/10/2024 - 01/11/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF 7.5 TONNE WEIGHT RESTRICTION ON PART OF THE B1077 VARIOUS ROADS, WINSTON AND EYE

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1077 Church Lane, Winston from the junction with the A1120 to the {unction with Grange Road, Winston and the B1077 Grange Road, Winston from the junction with Church Lane, Winston for 180 metres north eastbound to facilitate telecommunication cable works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be the A1120, the A140, the B1117, Lowgate Street, Cranley Road, the B1077 and vice versa. For the duration of this closure there will be a suspension of the 7.5 tonne weight restriction on the B1077 Cranley Road, Eye from Church Lane, Winston to the junction with the B1117 Magdalen Street, Eye.

It is intended that these measures will operate from 19/10/2024 -20/10/2024 from 9.30am - 3.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1075 PRINCES STREET, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1075 Princes Street, Ipswich from Burrell Road to Civic Drive to facilitate preventing disorder and safety control movement during a football game. Other coordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Burrell Road, Stoke Street,

Bridge Street, Greyfriars Road, Franciscan Way, Civic Drive,

Handford Road, Ranelagh Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 19/10/2024 from

1pm - 6pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for

18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
