Pavilion Road - Road Closed To Vehicles For Utility Works

What is happening?

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES PAVILION ROAD

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea intends to make an Order under The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Schedule 1 - Section 14 (1) (A) and all other enabling powers prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below. Where necessary to maintain access for residents and occupiers one way or two-way traffic working may be imposed on 
affected roads.

 ROAD CLOSED TO VEHICLES FOR UTILITY WORKS.

Pavilion Road to be closed at the junction of Rysbrack Street to the junction of Hans Crescent.

To be closed from 08.00hrs on Wednesday 30th October 2024 until 18.00hrs on Sunday 3rd November 2024, with backup dates of Monday 18th November 2024 until Sunday 23rd November 2024, or until the works are completed.

Diverted through traffic may use Pavilion Road, Rysbrack Street, Basil Street, Hans Crescent.

The one-way working of Rysbrack Street Road is to be suspended for the duration of the works.

Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.

Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden.

Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency.
