Buckinghamshire - Multiple Temporary Road Closures due to Works

What is happening?

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE

(Sevenhills Rd, Iver) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Sevenhills Rd for approx. 528M. Alternative route: A412, A40, A355, A4, A412 and vice versa. The closure is required whilst National Highways bridge Inspection commences on 4 November 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 4 November 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(West Common, Gerrards Cross) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in West Common for approx. 369M. Alternative route: Packhorse Rd, Oxford Rd, West Common and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Cadent Gas mains replacement commence on 28 October 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 28 October 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Thompkins Lane, Burnham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Thompkins Lane for approx. 539M. Alternative route: Hawthorn Lane, Crown Lane, Thompkins Lane, East Burnham Lane, Stoney Lane, Allerds Road, Crow Piece Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst an installation of Telecoms ducts commence on 01 November 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 01 November 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
