HIGHWAY WORK

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.

WHAT, WHERE & WHEN: Road closed to all vehicles and no parking - no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time

Stafford Road from its junction with Old Christchurch Road to its junction with Madeira Road.

Anticipated dates: 4th November 2024 to 17th June 2025

Madeira Road from the Madeira roundabout to approximately 15m past its junction with Stafford Road.

Anticipated dates: 13th May to 6th June 2025 - overnight works from 19:00 to 06:00

Madeira Road from the Madeira roundabout to its junction with Stafford Road - phased closures east and westbound.

Anticipated dates: 4th November 2024 to 17th June 2025

Lansdowne Road northbound from the Lansdowne roundabout to the Madeira roundabout.

Anticipated dates: 4th November to 15th November 2024 and again 6th January

to 29th January 2025

WHAT, WHERE & WHEN: No waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time (suspension of parking)

Madeira Road both sides from the Madeira roundabout to approximately its junction with Stafford Road.

Anticipated dates: 4th November 2024 to 17th June 2025

WHY: Highway works by KIER

ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety

DIVERSION: Please follow signed routes

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.

The Council regrets any inconvenience to the public caused by this traffic order.
