HYSBYSIR drwy hyn fod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Caerffili, wrth weithredu ei bwerau o dan Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), yn bwriadu mewn nid llai na saith diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn wneud Gorchymyn, a fydd â’r effaith o:
Gwahardd cerbydau rhag mynd ar hyd:
Melville Terrace ar y gyffordd â Heol Pontygwindy.
Disgwylir y bydd y ffordd ar gau rhwng 28 Hydref a 1 Tachwedd 2024.
Rhos Street ar y gyffordd â Heol Pontygwindy. Disgwylir y bydd y ffordd ar gau rhwng 4 Tachwedd a 2 Rhagfyr 2024.
Virginia View ar y gyffordd â Heol Pontygwindy. Disgwylir y bydd y ffordd ar gau rhwng 27 Ionawr a 24 Chwefror 2025.
Melville Terrace ar y gyffordd â Heol Pontygwindy.
Disgwylir y bydd y ffordd ar gau rhwng 22 Chwefror a 2 Mawrth 2025.
Lôn ddienw ar ochr ogleddol 156 Heol Pontygwindy.
Disgwylir y bydd y ffordd ar gau rhwng 3 Mawrth a 13 Ebrill 2025.
Gwahardd cerbydau rhag aros a llwytho ar hyd:
Y ddwy ochr i Heol Pontygwindy o ben deheuol y safle bws y tu allan i dafarn Pontygwindy i ffin ddeheuol eiddo rhif 20 Heol Pontygwindy (pellter o tua 850 metr). Bydd y Gwaharddiad ar Aros a Llwytho ar unrhyw adeg yn dod i rym ar 28 Hydref 2024, fodd bynnag, caiff hyn ei roi ar waith fesul cam wrth i’r gwaith fynd rhagddo.
Disgwylir i’r Gorchymyn arfaethedig gychwyn ar 28 Hydref 2024 am gyfnod nid yn fwy na deunaw mis neu nes bod y gwaith wedi ei gwblhau, p’un bynnag sydd gynharaf.

PONTYGWINDY ROAD, MELVILLE TERRACE, RHOS STREET AND VIRGINIA VIEW, CAERPHILLY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, WAITING AND LOADING ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that Caerphilly County Borough Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intends in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:
Prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:
Melville Terrace at its junction with Pontygwindy Road. It is anticipated the road will be closed between 28th October and 1st November 2024.
Rhos Street at its junction with Pontygwindy Road. It is anticipated the road will be closed between 4th November and 2nd December 2024.
Virginia View at its junction with Pontygwindy Road. It is anticipated the road will be closed between 27th January and 24th February 2025.
Melville Terrace at its junction with Pontygwindy Road. It is anticipated the road will be closed between 22nd February and 2nd March 2025.
Un-named lane to the northern side of 156 Pontygwindy Road.
It is anticipated the road will be closed between 3rd March and 13th April 2025.
Prohibit vehicles from waiting and loading along:
Both sides of Pontygwindy Road from the southern end of the bus stop outside The Pontygwindy Public House to the southern boundary of property number 20 Pontygwindy Road (a distance of approximately 850 metres). The Prohibition of Waiting and Loading at any time will come into force on 28th October 2024 however, this will be implemented in phases as the works progress.
The proposed Order is expected to commence on 28th October 2024 for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated the works will be complete by 28 April 2025. It should be noted that the dates provided are subject to change due to adverse weather or unforeseen circumstances when carrying out the works.
Access for emergency services, and pedestrians will be maintained where possible.
Alternative routes are via local roads.
The reason for making the Order is to allow for gas main replacement.
The order is required by Wales and West Utilities.
