Loughborough Road - Temporary Prohibition of Driving For Carriageway Surfacing Works
What is happening?

(A60 Loughborough Road, Bradmore And Ruddington) (Temporary Prohibition Of Driving) Order 2024 (R24-225)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council has made an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Bradmore and Ruddington in the Borough of Rushcliffe The effects of the Order will be :
1. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding in the following length of road.
a. A60 Loughborough Road, Ruddington - From its junction with Kirk Lane, to its junction with Moor Farm Access.
b. A60 Loughborough Road, Bradmore - From its junction with Moor Farm Access, to its junction with Plumtree Lane.
2. Vehicles are prohibited from waiting, loading and unloading (Both Sides) (From 20:00 Hours until 06:00 Hours) in the following length of road.
a. A60 Loughborough Road, Ruddington - From its junction with Kirk Lane, to its junction with Moor Farm Access.
b. A60 Loughborough Road, Bradmore - From its junction with Moor Farm Access, to its junction with Plumtree Lane.
3. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.
4. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.
IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows : From 20:00 Hours, Monday 21st October 2024 Until 06:00 Hours, Saturday 2nd November 2024
AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction the alternative route available will be : a/b: A52 - A606 - A46 - Back Lane - East Road - Far Street - Rempstone Road - Wymeswold Road - Main Street and Vice Versa.
The Order will come into force on Monday 21st October 2024 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out. The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).
The prohibition is required to enable Via East Midlands on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to carry out Carriageway Surfacing Works.
