Warwickshire County Council

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

A4177 BIRMINGHAM ROAD, BUDBROOKE

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To enable S278 Highway improvement works relating to the Union View Development, overnight 18.00 hrs-08.00hrs.

Order Commences: 23 October 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 30 October 2024.

Access & Diversion: Birmingham Road, Hatton Hill, Honiley Road, Meer End Road, Kenilworth Road Gambles Island, Kenilworth Road, Clinton Lane, Castle Road, Borrowell Lane, Smalley Place, The Square, Warwick Road, St Johns, Leamington Road, Warwick Bypass and vice versa.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

A452 WARWICK ROAD, KENILWORTH

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from its junctions with St Johns Gyratory to Whites Row.

Reason for Order: Drainage and associated works, Sundays only – 08.00hrs-17.00hrs

Order Commences: 3 November 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 17 November 2024.

Access & Diversion: A452, A46, A45, A429, A452 and vice versa

Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.

BRIDGE END, WARWICK

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Patching works.

Order Commences: 5 November 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 8 November 2024.

Access & Diversion: Bridge End, Banbury Road and vice versa.

Contractor: Severn Trent Water, Tel: 03456 027 723.

KENILWORTH ROAD, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between Lillington Avenue and Binswood Avenue.

Reason for Order: Works for installation of new mains water pipes.

Order Commences: 1 November 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 20 December 2024.

Access & Diversion: Kenilworth Road, Clarendon Avenue, Parade, Victoria Terrace, Bath Street, High Street, Old Warwick Road, Myton Road, Princes Drive, Park Drive, Avenue Road, Adelaide Road, Dale Street, Clarendon Place, Clarendon Square, Binswood Street, Lillington Avenue and vice versa.

STRATFORD ROAD, LIGHTHORNE HEATH

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Works for water pipe renewal.

Order Commences: 5 November 2024 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 7 November 2024

Access & Diversion: No diversion available.

Contractor: Chevron Traffic Management Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.

SECTION 90A HIGHWAYS ACT 1980  

PROPOSED ROAD HUMP (PRIORITY CROSSING FOR PEDESTRIANS AND CYCLISTS) ON WOODLAND ROAD, CRACKLEY, KENILWORTH

Warwickshire County Council proposes to construct a road hump on Woodland Road at the junction with the A429 Coventry Road, Crackley, Kenilworth (as described with approximate measurements in the Schedule below) pursuant to the Section 90A of the Highways Act 1980.

A copy of this notice, together with a statement of the Council’s reasons for these proposals and a plan showing the location of the proposals, can be inspected at the Main Reception in Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick during usual opening hours and are available to view on the website at https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/cycling/cycle-route-schemes-consultation/10

(CONSOLIDATION) (VARIATION NO. 14 ) ORDER 2024

Warwickshire County Council propose to make the abovenamed Order, pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to vary the existing Warwickshire County Council (District of Warwick) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions, On Street Parking Places & Residents’ Parking) (Consolidation) Order 2017 (as varied) as described in the Schedule below.

A copy of the proposed Order, together with a copy of the Order to be varied, and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, are available to view at Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick, and online on the Council’s website at https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/news/20210/warwick-district If you do not have access to the internet, printed copies of the proposed Order and supporting documentation can be obtained by contacting 01926 410410.
