NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 15

Notice of proposed development/works at (a) Hare and Hounds Inn, Skipton Old Road, Foulridge. 24/0676/FUL Full: Erection of an entrance lobby to the rear, extend existing front elevation entrance lobby, reconfiguration of rear beer garden with the removal of the existing shelter and erection of metal fencing to replace existing timber. The proposal affects the setting of a Listed Building. (b) 29 Market Street, Colne. 24/0711/FUL Full: Installation of 2 no. external AC condensing units with steel mesh cage, 1 no. external exhaust weather louvre and 1 no. external intake weather louvre at the rear of the property. The proposal is within the Albert Road Conservation Area. The proposal affects the setting of a Listed Building. The Council has received these applications and is required to advertise them under the above legislation. Copies of the applications can be inspected during normal office hours at Number One Market Street, Nelson until 8 November 2024. The case officers dealing with these applications are: (a) Athira Pushpagaran who can be contacted on athira.pushpagaran@pendle.gov.uk, (b) Joanne Naylor (661711). Any representations about these applications should be made either in writing to the Planning Services Manager, Town Hall, Market Street, Nelson, BB9 7LG, so as to arrive not later than 8 November 2024; or, a copy of the application can be inspected on the Council’s website (www.pendle.gov.uk under Environment/Planning/View Planning Applications) and comments made online. All comments received will be available for public inspection and will be viewable on the internet along with the application details. However, we will endeavour to prevent signatures, telephone numbers and email addresses from appearing on the comments published on the internet. Decisions are normally made within six to eight weeks (11 to 13 weeks for major planning applications). Details of the decision will not automatically be sent to those that have made comments.
