U6555 C403 VARIOUS ROADS IN WEST SLEEKBURN
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in West Sleekburn in the County of Northumberland.
The Order came into force on the 17th October 2024 and will remain in force until the 17th April 2025.
U6555 Factory Access Road from its point 30 metres north of its junction with the C403 Middle School to Wembley Gardens heading south for a distance of 30 metres.
It is expected that the above road will only be closed from the 19th October 2024 until the 29th October 2024 between the hours of 08:00 and 13:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 17th April 2025.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C403, C415 C403 and vice versa.
C403 Middle School to Wembley Gardens from its point at the east side of the level crossing heading eastwards for a distance of 280 metres.
C403 Wembley Gardens for its entire length of 120 metres.
C403 North View South View for its entire length of 280 metres.
C403 South View to Unity Terrace from its junction with the C403 North View South View heading eastwards for a distance of 110 metres.
It is expected that the above roads will only be closed from the 17th October 2024 until the 22nd October 2024 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 17th April 2025.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C403, C415 C403 and vice versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carryout deep patching and carriageway resurfacing works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
