U6536 ST ANDREWS TERRACE ASHINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6536 St Andrews Terrace Ashington from its junction with Ariel Street heading westwards for a distance of 250 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 27th October 2024 until the 10th November 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 27th October 2024 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 10th November 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via St Andrews Terrace, Third Avenue To St Andrews Terrace Link, Third Avenue, Ariel Street.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water Ltd to complete a sewer repair in the carriageway. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
