What is happening?

PUBLIC NOTICES

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (B8034, Port of Menteith - Arnprior) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic - No 2 - Extension) Order 2024 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 11-10-24.

This Order will close:

B8034 For its entire length from 4-11-24 until 28-2-25 to facilitate bridge strengthening and repair works.

Emergency service access will be maintained

Alternative Routes: (1) via A811, B822, A873, A81 and vice versa (2) via A81, A811 and vice versa

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (C22 / Leckie Road, Gargunnock) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 11-10-24.

This Order will close:
C22 From the point where it meets Leckie Road to its junction with the A811, and;
Leckie Road For its entire length from 0900 hours until 1700 hours on 7-11-24 to facilitate tree works.

Emergency service access will be maintained

Alternative Routes: via A811, Station Road and vice versa

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (A821, Trossachs Road, Aberfoyle) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 11-10-24.

This Order will close:

A821, Trossachs From its junction with the B829 to the junction of Road the section of the A821 leading to Trossachs Pier from 0900 hours until 1600 hours from 4-11-24 until 15-11-24 to facilitate the installation of a new culvert.

Emergency service access will be maintained The location of the works is approximately 100 metres or thereby north-west of the northerly access to Limecraig Avenue, access will be maintained for all residents and businesses up to the point of the closure.

Alternative Routes: via A821, A84, A81 and vice versa

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (B834 Station Road) (Temporary Closure) and (B834 Station Road / A875, Killearn) (Temporary Suspension of Parking) Order 2024 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 11-10-24.

The ORDER will close:-

B834 Station Road From its junction with the A875 to the junction of Gartness Road.

The ORDER will also suspend the parking on:-

B834 Station Road Both sides thereof from its junction with the A875 to the junction of Gartness Road, and A875 From the junction of The Square to a point 200 metres or thereby north-east of Greenend Road from 1800 hours until 2100 hours on 3-11-24 to facilitate a fireworks display.

Emergency service access will be maintained.

Alternative Routes: via B834, A81, A875 and vice versa

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (Glinns Road, Kippen) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic and Suspension of Parking) Order 2024 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 11- 10-24.

This Order will close:
Glinns Road From its junction with the A811 to its junction with the B822.

This Order will also Suspend the Parking on:
Glinns Road From a point 840 metres or thereby south of its junction with the A811 in a southerly direction for a distance of 300 metres or thereby from 0900 hours until 1600 hours from 4-11-24 until 10-11-24 to facilitate drainage works.

Alternative Routes: via B822, A811 and vice versa A COPY of the Order can be provided by e-mailing traffic@stirling.gov.uk. The COUNCIL propose to make The Stirling Council (40mph Speed Limit) (Kippen) Order 2024 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

This Order proposes to introduce new 40-mph Limits on Fore Road (B8037) and Fintry Road (B822), Kippen to create 40mph speed limit buffer zones in advance of the 20mph speed limit through the village.

This is being implemented in the interest of road safety
