Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under sections 84(1)(a) and (2), and Parts IV and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended)
Effect of the order: To Implement: a '40mph Speed Limit' (Currently a Restricted Road by virtue of street lights for 181.8 metres, and National Speed Limit (derestricted) for 64.9 metres) Road: B1052 Little Walden Road, Saffron Walden
Description From a point approximately 65 metres south of its junction with Home Pasture, northwards for approximately 246.7 metres.
‘The Essex County Council (B1052 Little Walden Road, Audley End Road, Littlebury/Saffron Walden) (30MPH & 40MPH Speed Limit) Order 2021' is hereby revoked in its entirety. The restrictions contained within that Order shall continue in force by virtue of this new Order.

(Bartlow Road, Hadstock/Asdon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bartlow Road, Hadstock/Ashdon in the District of Uttlesford, from the junction with Church Path for a distance of approximately 2375m in an easterly direction to its border with Cambridgeshire. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th November 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2374196 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Bartlow Road, Walden Road, Hadstock Road, Little Walden Road, Castle Hill, Ashdon Road, Walden Road, Church Hill, Bartlow Road, Ashdon Road, Hadstock Road and vice versa.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Hill/Walden Road/Ashdon Road, Saffron Walden in the District of Uttlesford, from the junction with Radwinter Road to the junction with Redgates Lane a distance of approximately 3740m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th November 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2370373/EP201EH2370378/EP201EH2371222A -Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Ashdon Road, Elizabeth Way, Radwinter Road, Walden Road, Radwinter Road, Walden Road, Ashdon Road, Radwinter Road and vice versa.

(Debden Road, Saffron Walden) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Debden Road, Saffron Walden in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 245m south east of its junction with Seven Devils Lane for a distance of approximately 50m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th November 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231011821 - Chevron Traffic Management). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while crane lifting works are undertaken by Chevron Traffic Management.

(Hempstead Road, Hempstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hempstead Road, Hempstead in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 725 west then south west of its junction with Wincelow Hall Road for a distance of approximately 70m in a south westerly direction. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lower Street, Stansted in the District of Uttlesford, from its junction with Chapel Hill to its junction with Grove Hill a distance of approximately 80m.
