Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Orders under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1),45, 46, 49, 53, and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

Effect of the order:

1. To Implement: 'No Waiting at Any Time' Restrictions.

Road: Olympic Boulevard

Description:

Both Sides From a point approximately 12.5 metres west of its junction with Flame Way and Spirit Drive, west for approximately 11 metres.

South Side From a point approximately 12.5 metres east of its junction with Spirit Drive, east for

approximately 95 metres.

North Side From a point approximately 4 metres west of its junction with Endeavour Way, west for approximately 45.5 metres.

This Order will be incorporated into 'The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019' by substituting map tile: TL995 282 revision 1 to revision 2.

2. To Implement: a 'No Entry' except for pedal cycles Restriction.

Road: Olympic Boulevard

Description: Northwest bound and Southeast bound: From its junction with Mill Road roundabout for approximately 51.5 metres.

Olympic Boulevard currently has two Bus Stop Clearways in place however, since there will not be any bus services along Olympic Boulevard these will be removed.

(Various Roads (Olympic Boulevard) Myland) (20mph Zone) Order 202*

Notice is also hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under section 84(1)(a) and (2) and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

3. To Implement: a '20mph Zone'.

Roads and Description

Altius Chase: From its junction with Spirit Drive for its entire length

Courage Drive: From its junction with Flame Way for its entire length.

Endeavour Way: From its junction with Olympic Boulevard for its entire length, including the Private Drives.

Flame Way: From its junction with Olympic Boulevard for its entire length, including the Private Drives.

Fortius Mews: From its junction with Altius Chase for its entire length.

Olympic Boulevard: From its junction with Via Urbis Romanae to its junction with Mill Road, for its entire length.

Spirit Drive: From its junction with Olympic Boulevard for its entire length.

Citius Parade (Private Drives): From its junction with Endeavour Way for its entire length.

Podium Close (Private Drives): From its junction with Olympic Boulevard for its entire length.

Venture Chase (Private Drives): From its junction with Flame Way for its entire length.

(Laurence Byrne Avenue, Stanway) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Essex County Council intends to temporarily close to through traffic Laurence Byrne Avenue, Stanway in the City of Colchester, at a point approximately 110 metres from its junction with Dyers Road, Stanway in the City of Colchester. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28 October 2024 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required to formalise the S106 obligation to close through traffic until the Southern Bypass is completed linking Warren Lane to Blackberry Lane.

The alternative route will be via Laurence Byrne Avenue, Dyers Road, Blackberry Road, Warren Lane and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 28 October 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(East Lane, Dedham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of East Lane, Dedham in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 310m east of its junction with Castle Hill for a distance of approximately 60m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th November 2024 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ7011001362846 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new service works are undertaken by Cadent.

An alternative route is available via Long Road East, The Heath, Castle Hill and vice versa (with access only into East Lane).

The Order will come into effect on 24th October 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Plume Avenue, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Plume Avenue, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from its junction with All Saints Avenue for a distance of approximately 20m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th November 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01310770453 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while supply replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

An alternative route is available via The Commons, Norman Way, Shrub End Road and vice versa (with access only into Plume Avenue).

The Order will come into effect on 24th October 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Queen Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Queen Street, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from its junction with High Street to its junction with Short Wyre Street a distance of approximately 200m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th November 2024 for 1 night (20:00-06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (AD03161978270 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while remedial works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

An alternative route is available via High Street, East Hill, Brook Street, Magdalen Street, St Botolphs Circus.

The Order will come into effect on 24th October 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Station Road, Wakes Colne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Road, Wakes Colne in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Colchester Road for a distance of approximately 270m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th November 2024 for 8 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA140GCECCTNA08009AT - Gigaclear). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while remedial works are undertaken by Gigaclear.

An alternative route is available via Station Road, Bures Road, Chappel Road, Hall Road, Colchester Road, Lower Road, Sandy Hill, Fordham Road, Wormingford Road, Plummers Road, Moat Road, Church Road, Mill Road, Fiddlers Hill, Porters Cottages, Wood Lane, Halstead Road, Fordstreet Hill, Ford Street, Colchester Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 24th October 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(St Osyth Road, Alresford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of St Osyth Road, Alresford in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Wivenhoe Road for a distance of approximately 370m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th November 2024 for 2 days then again 23rd November 2024 for 2 days (2 weekends only), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10004168 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while trial hole works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via St Osyth Road, Tenpenny Hill, Clacton Road, Holly Bush Hill, Flag Hill, Colchester Road, Bypass Road, St Johns Road, St Johns Roundabout, Little Clacton Bypass, Bovills Roundabout, Little Clacton Weeley Bypass, Weeley Roundabout, Colchester Road, Colchester Road Roundabout, Colchester Road, Main Road, Frating Hill, Clacton Road, Colchester Road, Clingoe Hill, Brightlingsea Road, St Osyth Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 24th October 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Barrington Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Barrington Road, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Lisle Road to its junction with Canterbury Road a distance of approximately 60m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th October 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2370556 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while paving repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Lisle Road, Campion Road, Canterbury Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 10th October 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Bellfield Avenue, Brightlingsea)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Bellfield Avenue, Brightlingsea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Regent Road for a distance of approximately 190m in a south easterly direction.

2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' in the above length of road for the duration of the closure only.

"The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The closure/clearway is scheduled to commence on 28th October 2024 for 54 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2365231 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/clearway is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway reconstruction works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Bellfield Avenue, Chapel Road, Bell Green, Red Barn Road, Regent Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 10th October 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Church Lane, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Lane, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Lexden Road for a distance of approximately 325m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th October 2024 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5011001359661 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas main replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.

An alternative route is available via Heath Road, Straight Road, London Road, Lexden Road, Church Lane and vice versa (with access only into Church Lane).

The Order came into effect on 10th October 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Colne Road, Brightlingsea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Colne Road, Brightlingsea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Duke Street to its junction with Nelson Street a distance of approximately 65m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th October 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30061519084 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Duke Street, Silcott Street, Nelson Street and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 10th October 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Constantine Road, Colchester)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Constantine Road, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Butt Road to its junction with Maldon Road a distance of approximately 290m.

2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction in the above length of road for the duration of the closure only.

"The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The Order came into effect on 10th October 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(East Mersea Road, West Mersea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of East Mersea Road, West Mersea in the City of Colchester, from its junction with The Strood to its junction with Dawes Lane a distance of approximately 765m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th October 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2364708 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching and haunching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via East Mersea Road, Chapmans Lane, East Road, Mill Road, Colchester Road, The Strood and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 10th October 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(School Road, Little Horkesley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of School Road, Little Horkesley in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 80m north east of its junction with School Lane for a distance of approximately 30m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th October 2024 for 11 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01463897811 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while air valve installation works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

An alternative route is available via Main Road, Sandy Hill, Lower Road, Colchester Road, Bridge Street, Church Square, Nayland Road, Clicket Hill, Road From Cricket Hill Via 8600 To Nayland, Bures Road, Wiston Road, Horkesley Hill, Nayland Bypass and vice versa (with access only into School Road, Cockrells Road, Little Horkesley Road, Fishponds Hill, London Road).

The Order came into effect on 10th October 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
