THE OLDHAM - DEN LANE SPRINGHEAD
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING ORDER 2024

The Oldham Borough Council on 21st October 2024 made a Temporary Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along that part of Den Lane Springhead from Rivington Road for 65 metres generally south westerly.

The alternative route is via Northbound: Cooper Street, Heywood Lane, A62 Huddersfield Road and Stamford Road in both diorections and Southbound: St John Street, High Street, Oldham Road,and Cooper Street in both directions.

The Order is to be made to allow Cadent gas works and will be in force for 2 weeks from 21st October 2024, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
