Proposed Order: To close that part of U50220 Gregorys Mill Street from its junction with A38 Droitwich Road to its junction with U50221 New Bank Street.

Reason: Remedial works to rectify defects in carriageway by Full Fibre.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U50311 Gilmour Crescent from its junction with U50310 St Michaels Road to its junction with U50309 St Annes Road.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U50310 St Michaels Road, U50309 St Annes Road and vice versa.

(C2208 Green Street, Kempsey) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2208 Green Street from its junction with C2208 Fox Lane to its junction with U60002 Roman Road.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2208 Fox Lane, C2108 Hatfield Bank, C2108 Broomhall, C2055 Norton Road, A4440 Broomhall Way, A38 Worcester Road, A38 Main Road, C2208 Post Office Lane, C2208 Green Street (part) and vice versa.

Order made: To close that part of Link Footpath F50134 Cope Road (between No 22/23) A38 Droit from its junction with U50302 Cope Road to its junction with A38 Droitwich Road. Reason: New/Replacement Gas Main by Cadent Gas. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A38 Droitwich Road, C2293 Coombs Road,

Proposed Order: To close that part of U54263 Skinner Road from its junction with U54265 Boughton Street to its junction with U54264 Skinner Street.

Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U54263 School Road, B4485 Bransford Road, B4206 Malvern Road, U54262 Pitmaston Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 11 November 2024.

(U62006 Upper Ferry Lane, Callow End) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U62006 Upper Ferry Lane from its junction with U62005 Lower Ferry Lane to its junction with B4424 Old Hills.

Reason: Installation of dropped kerb for vehicle crossing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U62006 Upper Ferry Lane (part), B4424 Old Hills, U62004 Pixham Ferry Lane, U62005 Lower Ferry Lane, U62006 Upper Ferry Lane (part)and vice versa.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U60003 Brookend Lane from its junction with U60002 Holdings Lane to its junction with U60027 Brook Close.

Reason: Bridgework maintenance by WCC. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U60003 Brookend Lane (part), U60002 Roman Road, C2208 Post Office Lane, A38 Main Road, U60003 Brookend Lane (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 11 November 2024.

(U53117 New Street, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) and The County of Hereford and Worcester (New Street, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1990 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U53117 New Street from its junction with U53118 Charles Street to its junction with U53117 Cornmarket and to temporarily suspend the County of Hereford and Worcester (New Street, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1990 to allow two-way traffic access for residents and businesses for the duration of the Order.

Reason: Utility works by Cadent Gas.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U53118 Charles Street, A38 City Walls Road. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 13 November 2024.

(U53136 Mill Street, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) and Worcestershire County Council (Mill Street) (One Way Traffic) Order 2017 (Temporary Suspension (part) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U53136 Mill Street from its junction with U53138 Portland Street for a distance of 55 metres in a north westerly direction and to temporarily suspend the Worcestershire County Council (Mill Street) (One Way Traffic) Order 2017 to allow two-way traffic access for residents and businesses for the duration of the Order.

Reason: Remedial works by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U50009 Britannia Square from its junction with A38 Upper Tything to its junction with U50004 Britannia Road.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U60406 Baughton Hill from its junction with A4104 Baughton Hill to its junction with C2104 Bourne Road.

Reason: Air valve renewal by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A4104 Baughton Hill, A4104 Woodmancote, C2104 Bourne Road, U60406 Baughton Lane (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 11 November 2024.

(Link Footpath F50222 Newcastle Close/Nunnery Lane & Link Footpath F50223 Prestwich Avenue (between no. 24/26), Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of: Closure 1 - F50222 Newcastle Close/Nunnery Lane from its junction with U52051 Newcastle Close to its junction with U52040 Nunnery Lane Closure 2 - Link Footpath F50223 Prestwich Avenue (between no. 24 /26) from its junction with Link Footpath F50222 Newcastle Close/Nunnery Lane to its junction with U52035 Prestwich Avenue.

Reason: Footpath resurfacing, brick delineation and bollards/ barriers replaced on Link Footpath F50222. Link Footpath F50223 Prestwich Avenue closure is to facilitate the works on Footpath F50222 by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

(U95617 Orleton, Stanford with Orleton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U95617 Orleton from its junction with C2091 Eastham to its junction with B4203 Stanford Bridge. Reason: Utility works by BT.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4203 Stanford Bridge into Herefordshire, B4204 Stanford Bridge, B4204 Broadheath, C2091 Hanley William, C2091 Eastham and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 24 October 2024.

(U43426 Stonepit Lane/C2051 Withybed Lane, Inkberrow) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of: Closure 1 U43426 Stonepit Lane from its junction with C2051 Withybed Lane to its junction with Perkins Drive (NSG Ref. 45405859). Closure 2 C2051 Withybed Lane from its junction with U43426 Stone Pit Lane for a distance of 20 metres in a northerly direction and 25 metres in a southerly direction.

Reason: Drainage and flood alleviation works by M P Wood Groundworks Ltd.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Order made: To close that part of: Closure 1: Link Footpath F50285 Sheringham Road (between Nos. 644/646) from its junction with U52217 Sheringham Road to its junction with Link Footpath F50291 Aldersley Close (between Nos. 13/14). Closure 2: Link Footpath F50286 Framlington Close (between Nos 28/33) from its junction with Link Footpath F50285 Sheringham Road (between Nos. 644/646) to its junction with U52219 Framlington Close.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Order made: To close that part of Link Footpath F50222 Newcastle Close to Nunnery Lane from its junction with U52051 Newcastle Close to its junction with U52040 Nunnery Lane.

Reason: Footpath reconstruction, ballard installation and vegetation removal by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, SECTIONS 25 CREATION OF BRIDLEWAY WR-738 ON THE WEST SIDE OF WOODGREEN DRIVE IN THE PARISH OF WARNDON PUBLIC FOOTPATH CREATION AGREEMENT 2024

Notice is hereby given that on 8th August 2024 Worcestershire County Council completed an Agreement, pursuant to Section 25 of the Highways Act 1980 ("the Agreement'') with Worcester City Council, by which Bridleway WN-738 was dedicated in the Parish of Warndon to the public, and that dedication was accepted on behalf of the public.

The route of the footpath and details of its width is contained in the Agreement, a copy of which may be inspected at Wildwood, Wildwood Drive, Worcester, Worcestershire, WR5 2LG, during normal office hours for a period of 28 days from the date of this notice. Copies of the Agreement and map may be purchased from Wildwood, Wildwood Drive, Worcester, Worcestershire, WR5 2LG at the price of £7.50.

Under Section 25, there is no right of objection. The Agreement came into effect on 8th August 2024.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2024 [Prohibition of Waiting on Blakefield Road/ Blakefield Walk, Worcester]

On 3 October 2024 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:-Blakefield Road (Northwest side): from a point 21 metres northeast of its junction with Bransford Road for a distance of 17.5 metres in a north easterly direction, (Southeast side): from a point 22 metres northeast of its junction with Bransford Road for a distance of 18.5 metres in a north easterly direction, Blakefield Walk (Southwest side): from its junction with Blakefield Road to its junction with Sinton Terrace; (West side): from its junction with Sinton Terrace for a distance of 4 metres in a northerly direction; (East side): from a point 11 metres south of its junction with Bromyard Road for a distance of 29 metres in a southerly direction; then from a point 59 metres south of the junction for a distance of 10 metres in a south easterly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/ access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 24 October 2024. Documents in relation to this Order can be downloaded at the Worcester City Public Notice page on the Worcestershire County Council Website or copies supplied by emailing roadtrafficregs@worcestershire.gov.uk; or writing to me at County Hall or may be inspected at Worcestershire County Council, Wildwood, Wildwood Drive, Worcester WR5 2QT during normal office hours. The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.

(Footpath WR-907, Worcester) (Temporary Closure Order) 2024

Proposed Order: To close Footpath WR-907, Worcester for its entire length.

The Order has been made to facilitate resurface the footpath.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Footpaths WR-906, WR-905, WR-904, WR-741, WR-897, WR-895, WR-893, WR-930, WR-909 in Worcester.

The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 11 November 2024.
