TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1119 WATERLOO AVENUE, LEISTON

Suffolk County Council Intends to make an order closing the B1119 Waterloo Avenue, Leiston from 100 metres west of the junction with the B1122 for 15 metres westbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1121, the A1094, the B1069 and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C477 PETTAUGH ROAD, WINSTON

Suffolk County Council Intends to make an order closing the C477 Pettaugh Road, Winston from Hedgerow Cottage for 120 metres south westbound to facilitate safety during access of telegraph poles. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Debenham Road, Ipswich Road, Cross Green, Gracechurch Street, Scotts Hill, the A1120 and vice versa.

Suffolk County Council Intends to make an order closing the C520 Cross Street, Hoxne from 215 metres northwest of the junction with Denham Road for 20 metres north westbound to facilitate the connection of a new water supply. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1118, Low Street and vice versa.

TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION ON PART OF VARIOUS ROADS, VARIOUS PARISHES

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order for a temporary 30 mph speed restriction on the following roads:

• the B1122 Aldeburgh Road, Aldringham cum Thorpe from Ash Tree Cottage for 967.5 metres northbound
• the B1353 Thorpe Road, Aldringham Cum Thorpe from Elm Tree Farm for 2400 metres eastbound
• the C228 Sizewell Gap Road, Leiston from 153 metres north of King George Avenue for 1364 metres eastbound
• the U2838 Sizewell Hall Road, Leiston from the junction with Sizewell Gap Road to Footpath 28, Aldringham cum Thorpe
• the BT069 Snape Road, Friston from 120 metres southwest of Sloe Lane for 380 metres south westbound
• the U2305 Sloe Lane, Knodishall from the junction with the B1069 for 254 metres southbound
• the B1121, Friston from junction access with the B1121 to Glebe Farm to the junction with Church Road.

This is to facilitate safe site access and egress. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

• C969 Station Road, Beccles from the junction with Newgate to Fair Close.

This is to facilitate the installation of new telecommunications duct. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion routes will be:

• Fair Close: Fair Close, Station Road, Gosford Road and vice versa.
• Station Road Northbound: Station Road, George Westwood Way, Norwich Road, Lowestoft Road, Ingate, Blyburgate, Smallgate and no vice versa
• Station Road Southbound: Newgate, Blyburgate, Ingate, Lowestoft Road, Norwich Road, George Westwood Way and no vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE, REVERSAL OF ONE-WAY TRAFFIC, SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY TRAFFIC AND SUSPENSION OF 7.5 TONNE WEIGHT RESTRICTION ON PART OF THE B1115, C497,1)4541. C431, U4540 AND B1113 VARIOUS ROADS, STOWMARKET, BADLEY AND NEEDHAM MARKET

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads in the following phases:

1. B1115 Tavern Street, Stowmarket.

During this closure there will be a one-way reversal on the C497 Bury Street, Stowmarket from the junction with the B1115 to no. 41 Bury Street

There will also be a southbound closure on the C497 Bury Street, Stowmarket from Union Street West to no. 41 Bury Street to assist with the one-way reversal

2. B1115 Finborough Road, Stowmarket from Tavern Street to 15 metres west of Childer Road

• U4541 Childer Road, Stowmarket from the B1115 for 30 metres northbound.

During this closure there will be a suspension of one-way on the U4541 Childer Road, Stowmarket from the Bl115 to Violet Hill Road to allow for two-way traffic for access and egress from violet Hill Road. 3.B1115 Finborough Road, Stowmarket from 15 metres west of Childer Road to the junction with Recreation Road 4 C431 Recreation Road, Stowmarket in the following stages: a) from the junction with the B1115 to Chilton Avenue, Stowmarket b) from Chilton Avenue to Curwen Road, Stowmarket c) from 30 metres southwest of Curwen Road to the junction with violet Hill Road. U4540 Chilton Avenue, Stowmarket at the junction with Recreation Road insofar as works require. U4540 Curwen Road, Stowmarket at the junction with Recreation Road insofar as works require. U4540 Kent Road, Stowmarket at the junction with Recreation Road insofar as works require. This is to facilitate a gas mains replacement project. Other coordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion routes:

1. the B1078, the B1113, the A1308 and vice versa.

• for the southbound closure on the C497 Bury Street, Stowmarket - the A1308, the B1115 with no vice versa.

2. for the B1115 Finborough Road - the B1078, the B1113, the A1308 and vice versa.

• for the U4541 Childer Road - the B1115, Recreation Road, Violet Hill with no vice versa.

3. for the B1115 Finborough Road - the B1078, the B1113, the A1308 and vice versa

4. for the C431 Recreation Road - Violet Hill Road, the A1308, the B1115 and vice versa

• for the U4540 Chilton Avenue - Onehouse Road. Windermere Road and vice versa.
• for the U4540 Curwen Road and Kent Road - Silverdale Avenue, Windermere Road, Onehouse Road and vice versa.

For the duration of phases 1,2 and 3 there will be a suspension of the 7.5 tonne weight restriction on the:

• B1113 Stowmarket Road, Badley
• B1113 Badley Hill. Badley
• B1113 stowmarket Road, Needham market > B1113 High Street, Needham Market.

It is intended that these measures will operate: Phase 1 - from 28/10/2024 - 08/11/2024 Phases 2 and 3 - from 11/11/2024 -13/12/2024 Phase 4 - from 06/01/2025 - 21/02/2024.

4. C964 Ravensmere, Beccles from the junction with Rosemary Lane and no. 49 Rosemary Lane, Beccles from no. 1a to no. 12

5. U1738 Fen Lane, Beccles from the junction with Bridge Street/ Ravensmere to no. 1. This to facilitate the installation of a new telecommunications duct. Other coordinated works may also take place during this period.
