What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

(Cardigan Lane, Burley, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Road closure for gas replacement Leeds City Council has made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Cardigan Lane, Burley (Phase 2), Leeds in the Kirkstall Ward between its junctions with Vinery Road and Burley Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Cardigan Lane, Stanmore Hill, St Michaels Lane, Burley Road. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Thursday 24th October 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 8th November 2024. The closure will be in place 24 hrs on each day. K Krawczyk. Ref: RC310119

(Outwood Lane, Horsforth, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Road closure for gas mains replacement.) Leeds City Council has made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Outwood Lane, Horsforth, Leeds in the Horsforth Ward between its junctions with Low Lane and Knoll Wood Park. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Low Lane, Hawksworth Road, New Road Side. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Saturday 26th October 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Barwick Road, Garforth, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Bridge Joint Replacement Works. Leeds City Council has made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Barwick Road, Garforth, Leeds in the Harewood Ward between its junctions with Barrowby Lane and Parlington Meadow. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Barrowby Lane- Wakefield Road – Selby road – A6120 – Leeds Road – Long Lane  and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 21st October 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier.  The works are expected to be completed by Monday 28th October 2024. (St Mark’s Street, Woodhouse, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Utility repair and maintenance works Leeds City Council has made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along St Mark’s Street, Woodhouse, Leeds in the Little London and Woodhouse Ward between its junctions with Woodhouse Lane and St Mark’s Road. A diversion route will be signposted in the local vicinity. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 21st October 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Dib Lane carriageway resurfacing Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Dib Lane, Roundhay, Leeds in the Killingbeck & Seacroft Ward between its junctions with Oakwood Lane and Easterly Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Dib Lane, Easterly Road, Oakwood Lane. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday4th November 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Northern Street, Leeds) (Temporary Cycle Lane Closure) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways for cycle lane closure to facilitate scaffolding Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any bicycle to travel along the cycle lane on Northern Street, Leeds, Leeds in the Hunslet & Riverside Ward between its junctions with Wellington Street and Whitehall Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: N/A as cyclists will be maintained within the carriageway. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Wednesday 6th November 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting and Parking) Order 2024 –  Scout Event at Golden Acre Park on 26 & 27 October 2024

Notice Is Hereby Given that because of the likelihood of danger arising to the public (due to the holding of the above event) Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or park on Leeds Road Bramhope, for a distance of 80m on the left-hand (northbound) side of the road; from the termination of the double yellow lines, at a point 150m north of the car park entrance to Golden Acre Park. The Order shall be in operation on Saturday 26 October 2024 and Sunday 27 October 2024 between 08:00 hours and 17:00 hours each day. Mr N Gardiner

(Definitive Bridleway Leeds 259) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

The Council of the City of Leeds intends in no less than seven days to make the following Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: the LEEDS CITY COUNCIL (DEFINITIVE BRIDLEWAY LEEDS 259) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024. The Order will close to equestrians, pedestrians and all other users; Definitive Bridleway Leeds 259, from the point on the north side of Skelton Lake where the Bridleway branches to east side of Skelton Lake (Easting: 435072, Northing: 430800), continuing along the north and west sides of the Lake for a distance of approximately 856 metres (to Easting: 434625, Northing: 430305). The diversion route will be via the unaffected length of Definitive Bridleway Leeds 259 that extends along the east and south sides of Skelton Lake. The Order is necessary to enable works of improvement to be undertaken to the Bridleway. The Order is due to come into operation on 28 October 2024. It is anticipated that the works will be completed by 28 February 2025, at which time the Order will cease to have effect. The Order may however continue in effect to 28 April 2025, or such lesser time as may be required by the progress of the works.
