What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF WALTHAM FOREST

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) THE WALTHAM FOREST (EE TELECOM APPARATUS) (GOODALL ROAD E11) (TEMPORARY MEASURES) (NO. 1) ORDER 2024

The Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that it intends on making an Order to allow tor the installation of telecommunication apparatus in a sate and efficient manner in Goodall Road E11 by EE. The general effect of the Order would be in Goodall Road E11 (GLR), only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed or, where applicable, covered to prohibit vehicles, for any purpose, at "any time", from entering, proceeding, waiting or loading between its junction with Calderon Road and the common boundary of Nos. 14/16.

Whilst the restrictions in paragraph 2 above remain in force, and only at such times and to such exlent as regulatory signs are displayed:

i) the one way working in GLR (section west of Webster Road) would be suspended;

ii) the no-entry prohibition and one-way working in Webster Road would be suspended;

iii) waiting or loading by vehicles would be prohibited in:

a) GLR - between the common boundary of Nos. 14/16 and its junction with Webster Road;

b) Webster Road-its entire length.

The Order would come into operation on 2nd November 2024 and would be valid tor a maximum period of 3 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

NOTE: The works are expected to be completed within 1 day, however, the Order has been extended to allow for any contingencies. (Ref: TT64(24))

THE WALTHAM FOREST (TW AND UKPN SUPPLY CONNECTIONS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITIONS) (SIMMONS LANE E4) (NO, 1) ORDER 2024

The Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that on 17th October 2024 it made an Order to allow for the electricity and water mains connections to a new development in Simmons Lane E4 to be carried out in a safe and efficient manner.

The general effect of the Order will be, only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed, to prohibit vehicles from entering, proceeding, waiting or loading for any purpose, at any time, in Simmons Lane E4 - between its junction with Larkshall Road and the west-facing boundary of No. 72. The Order will come into operation on 19th October 2024 for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

NOTE: The works are expected to be completed within 7 days however the Order has been extended to allow for any contingencies. (Ref: TT63(24))

Vehicles waiting or loading in disregard of this Order would be removed.

The restrictions and prohibitions mentioned above would not apply in relation to any vehicle being used:

(a) in connection with the said works; or

(b) for ambulance, fire brigade or police purposes in an emergency. Signage will be placed In advance of any works which would give more specific details on the exact dates of the prohibitions, effects of any temporary traffic management and diversion routes as necessary
