Greenheys Lane - Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicular Traffic New Drainage Connection

MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER_ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order:
ORDER NO. MCC140484715: The City of Manchester (Greenheys Lane, Hulme Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2024 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Greenheys Lane. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Boundary Lane, Stretford Road, Old Birley Street, Greenheys Lane West, Greenheys Lane. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate new drainage connection. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 21st October 2024 to 3rd November 2024. The order shall come into operation on 21st October 2024 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
