What is happening?

Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

A45 BIRMINGHAM ROAD (MERIDEN BYPASS),
GREAT PACKINGTON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic Northbound from Maxstoke Lane to the Stonebridge Island. Please Note — These details differ to those previously advertised in the Coventry Observer week ending 4 October 2024.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 20.00hrs-06.00hrs
Order Commences: 21 October 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 23 October 2024.
Access & Diversion: Northbound Diversion: Maxstoke Lane, Birmingham Road, Hampton Lane, A452.

COVENTRY ROAD, BAGINTON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to install new water pipe.
Order Commences: 21 October 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 25 October 2024.
Access & Diversion: Coventry Road, Mill Hill, Howes Lane, St Martins Road, Bubbenhall Road, Chantry Heath Lane, Stoneleigh Road and vice versa.

C32 BIRMINGHAM ROAD, STONELEIGH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between the junctions of The Green and Ashow Road.
Reason for Order: Jetting and Drainage and associated works, 08.30hrs-15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 21 October 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 22 October 2024.
Access & Diversion: The Bank, Coventry Road,
Ashow Road and Vice Versa (West to East only, use Stoneleigh Road to head in the eastern direction).

C171 SMEATON LANE, BRINKLOW
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between the junctions of the Fosse Way and Ansty Lane.
Reason for Order: Piling to water course and associated works.
Order Commences: 21 October 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 25 October 2024.
Access & Diversion: Smeaton Lane, Ansty Lane, Ansty Road, Shilton Lane, Coventry Road, Broad Street, The Crescent, Lutterworth Road, Fosse Way and vice versa

C26 WOOD LANE, SHILTON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between its junctions with the B4029 Bulkington Road and Charles Lakin Close.
Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing and associated works, 08.00hrs-17.00hrs weekdays only.
Order Commences: 21 October 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 6 November 2024.
Access & Diversion: Bulkington Lane, Church Road, B4065 Hinckley Road, A4600 (Ansty Interchange, Hinckley Road), B4082 (Woodway Lane, B4082 Henley Road), B4109 (Hall Green Road, Aldermans Green Road), Eburne Road, Dunton Road, Deedmore Road, Shilton Lane and vice versa.

STONELEIGH ROAD, STONELEIGH
Order Effect: Vehicular traffic will be prohibited from making a Right Turn from Stoneleigh Road on to the A46 slip Road.
Reason for Order: For the safety of the public during ongoing bridge works
Order Commences: 3 November 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 8 September 2025.
Access & Diversion: A diversion will be appropriately signed.

D1744 ARMSON ROAD, EXHALL
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between both of its junctions with Grant Road, as follows: Phase 1: Grant Road — Jones Road (Evens), Phase 2: Jones Road — Grant Road (Evens), Phase 3: Grant Road — Butlers Crescent (Odds.) Reason for Order: Footway reconstruction and associated works, 0800 - 1700 hrs, weekdays only.
Order Commences: 4 November 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 20 December 2024.
Access & Diversion: All through traffic should use Grant Road. Access/Egress for all adjoining roads may be affected whilst works are in progress.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
