Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 –
Station Road, Thorney                                                       Ref: 25-165

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Station Road, Thorney, closed at the junction of Wisbech Road northbound for approximately 50m. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: The Causeway, A47 and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 21/10/2024 and will continue until the new gas connection works have been completed or until the 20/10/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 21/10/2024 and the 25/10/2024.

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 – Singerfire Road, Ailsworth, Peterborough                      Ref: 25-170

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Singerfire Road, Ailsworth, as lies between Casworth Way and Helpston Road. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Thorolds Way, Peterborough Road, Main Street and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 21/10/2024 and will continue until the new gas connection works have been completed or until the 20/10/2025, whichever is the earlier. The City of Peterborough Glinton Road, Helpston, Peterborough. Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024.                            Ref: 25-142

Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Glinton Road, Helpston as lies between points 20 metres either side of Helpston Level Crossing. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Glinton Rd, Maxey Rd, High St (Maxey), Maxey Rd, A15, Helpston Rd and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into force on the 19/10/2024 and will continue until the railway level crossing maintenance works have been completed or until the 18/10/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place overnight between 23:30hrs and 08:30hrs from the 19/10/2024 to the 20/10/2024.                           BR2

Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough intends in not less than seven days to make an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 – Queens Gardens, Peterborough                                       Ref: 25-171

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Queens Gardens, as lies between Park Crescent and Dogsthorpe Road. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. There is no alternative route for vehicles affected by this order (cul de sac). The proposed order will come into force on the 28/10/2024 and will continue until the new electrical connection works have been completed or until the 27/10/2025, whichever is the earlier. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 – A1260 Nene Parkway Roundabout 31 Northbound On Slip, Peterborough    Ref: 25-174

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as A1260 Nene Parkway Roundabout 31 Northbound On Slip, as lies between Malborne Way and Nene Parkway. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Nene Parkway Roundabout 31, Nene Parkway Roundabout 31 Southbound On, Nene Parkway, Fletton Parkway Roundabout 3, Nene Parkway Northbound. The proposed order will come into force on the 29/10/2024 and will continue until the tree and vegetation maintenance works have been completed or until the 28/10/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place overnight between 20:00hrs and 05:00hrs on the 29/10/2024 to the 31/10/2024. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 – Exchange Street, Peterborough                                                                            Ref: 25-173

The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpath/cycle path known as Exchange Street, as lies between Cumbergate and Queensgate Centre, Cathedral Square entrance, detailed in the below schedule:

The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above footpath/cycle path. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this order will be signed locally on site. The proposed order will come into force on the 28/10/2024 and will continue until the crane lift to roof works have been completed or until the 27/04/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place overnight between 22:00hrs and 05:00hrs from the 28/10/2024 to the 19/11/2024.

Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough intends in not less than seven days to make an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the roads known as Stocks Hill & Peterborough Road, Castor, at their Junction, as lies between Port Lane, Splash Lane and Church Hill. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Peterborough Road, Ailsworth, A47, Soke Parkway Roundabout 15, A47, Peterborough Road, Castor and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 28/10/2024 and will continue until the new telecoms ducting and fibre laying works have been completed or until the 27/10/2025, whichever is the earlier.
