Kingston Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Cabling Works
What is happening?
Somerset Council Temporary Closure of Kingston Road, Taunton
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Kingston Road - from the junction with Belgrave Place to the junction with St Andrews Road. A total distance of 85 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to carry out underground cabling works.
The Order becomes effective on 17th October 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 21st October 2024 and last until 24th October 2024 between the hours of 21:00 - 06:00 for a total of 3 nights.
