Main Road, Pentrich - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
MAIN ROAD, ASHER LANE, PENTRICH
WHEN: 06 November 2024 (08:00 to 17:00)
WHERE: Main Road, Pentrich between its Jct.
with Riley Lane and its Jct. with Old Lane. Asher
Lane between its Jct. with Main Road and its
Jct. with Back Lane.
REASON: To facilitate tree cutting.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Pentrich Road,
Unnamed roundabout on B6016 at Jct. with High
Street, The Green, Derby Road, Chapel Street,
Eachwell Lane, Wingfield Road, Four Lane
Ends, Chesterfield Road, Pentrich Lane End and
vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably
possible, on the affected length of road. The
road will re-open as soon as the work is finished.
This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any
inconvenience caused while work takes place.

Council intends to make an Order under Section
14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as
amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
