1. Southwark Council hereby GIVES NOTICE that it proposes to make the above Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effects of the Order, in the vicinity of the development site known as Nos. 67-71 Tanner Street, the purpose of which would be to facilitate pedestrian crossing as a priority of this area and to clear obstructive parking around vehicular access points, would be in TANNER STREET on the south-east side (opposite Nos. 67-71 Tanner Street) to upgrade to new ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions (double yellow lines) a 29.5 metre length of existing ‘timed’ waiting restrictions (single yellow lines) with contiguous ‘timed’ loading restrictions (single kerb blips operating only Saturdays between 8 am and 7 pm and Sundays between 8 am and 6 pm). The existing contiguous single kerb blips would remain unchanged on the new length of double yellow lines.
NOTES: (1) ‘at any time’ means at all hours on every day of the week. (2) All measurements are in metres and are approximate.

3. Southwark Council hereby GIVES FURTHER NOTICE under sections 90A to 90I of the Highways Act 1980 and in accordance with the provisions of the Highways (Traffic calming) Regulations 1999, propose to construct a speed table of flat-top construction having a maximum height level with the surrounding kerb covering the entire width of the carriageway, in TANNER STREET from a point 8 metres south-west of the south-western kerb-line of Maltby Street extending south-westward for a distance of 6 metres. These measurements include the ramps, and any existing traffic calming measures at the exact location above will be refreshed and replaced.
