Station Road, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due to Gas Works
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL STATION ROAD, OXENHOPE, KEIGHLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of gas works proposed to be executed on or near Station Road, Oxenhope, Keighley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Station Road from its junction with Lower Town to its junction with Yate Lane.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Station Road (unaffected section), Keighley Toad, Hebden Road, Brow Top Road, Haworth Road, Halifax Road, Keighley Road, Main Road, New Road, Long Causeway, Denholme Road and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 28th October 2024 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 8th November 2024 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
