NOTICE OF MAKING OF AN ORDER
THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 1 (PART) - PARISH OF ATLOW, & PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 36 - PARISH OF HOGNASTON) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2024
THE ABOVE ORDER made on 4 September 2024 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert the whole width of that part of Atlow Parish Public Footpath No. 1 commencing at Point A (Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (“GR”) SK 2386 4911) and proceeding in a generally east-south-eastward direction to Point B at parish boundary (GR SK 2399 4904), a distance of 152 metres or thereabouts and the whole width of Hognaston Parish Public Footpath No. 36 commencing at the aforementioned Point B and proceeding in an east north-eastward direction to Point C at roadside (GR SK 2400 4904), a distance of 13 metres or thereabouts to a 2-metre-wide grass surfaced footpath at Hill Crest in Atlow Parish, commencing from the aforementioned Point A and proceeding in an eastward then east-north-eastward direction for around 115 metres to field boundary at Point D (GR SK 2397 4911), continuing east-north-eastward for around 3 metres to parish boundary at Point E (GR SK 23984911) a total distance of 118 metres or thereabouts and to a 2-metre-wide footpath surfaced with grass and rolled stone at Hill Crest in Hognaston Parish, commencing from the aforementioned Point E and proceeding in an east-north-eastward direction to Point F at roadside (GR SK 2399 4912), a distance of 11 metres or thereabouts, as shown on the order map.

Documents can also be seen free of charge at County Hall, Matlock during normal office hours where copies may be bought at the price of £1.00 or at Ashbourne Library, Compton Street, Ashbourne, DE6 1DA during normal opening hours.
Any representation about or objection to the order may be sent to the Director of Legal and Democratic Services, Derbyshire County Council, County Hall, Matlock, Derbyshire, DE4 3AG or by email to Angela.Greatorex1@ derbyshire.gov.uk not later than 14 November 2024. Please state the grounds on which it is made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Derbyshire County Council may itself confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
