C59 WAREN MILL JUNCTION TO EASINGTON GRANGE COTTAGES EASINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C59 Waren Mill Junction To Easington Grange Cottages Easington from its junction with the C59 Easington Grange Junction to Detchant Park Junction heading southwards for a distance of 1385 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 5th November 2024 until the 14th November 2024.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 5th November 2024 until the 7th November 2024 and that the road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 14th November 2024.

The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C59, A1 ,C60 and vice-versa

The closure has been requested by Go Fibre Road Closure to carry out mole ploughing for the installation of fibre cabling. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
