U15 Scremerston Main Road To Cockley Burn - Temporary Road Closure

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U15 Scremerston Main Road To Cockley Burn Culvert from 20 metres either side of the level crossing in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 26th October 2024 until the 3rd November 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the following periods however the order will remain in place until 3rd November 2024.
26th October 2024 until the 27th October 2024 between the hours of 23:15 and 08:35
2nd November 2024 until the 3rd November 2024 between the hours of 23:15 and 08:35
There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic

The closure has been requested by Chevron TM on Behalf of Network Rail to carry out repairs to drainage systems. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
