What is happening?

THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC VARIOUS ROADS,
BRIDLINGTON (PHASE 3)


Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire
Council intends not less than seven days from the
date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of
which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding
along the following roads commencing 4 November
2024 to allow carriageway resurfacing works to be
carried out safely.
• Trinity Road - Junction of Flamborough Road.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the road
closure will be via Flamborough Road, Tennyson
Avenue,Trinity Road and vice versa.
• Gladstone Terrace - Junction of Flamborough
Road. The alternative route for traffic affected by the
road closure will be via Gladstone Road access road,
Alexandra Walk and vice versa.
The road closure is necessary to enable the works to
be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring
the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
completed 6 November 2024. The closures will be
between 09.30 hours until 15.30 hours.
One way system will become two way on Trinity Road.
The diversion route will be signed at the time of
closure. The road will be closed to all traffic but access
will be maintained for emergency vehicles, residents
and pedestrians. Further information can be obtained
