PUBLIC NOTICE

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(U21212 York Road, Bromsgrove) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U21212 York Road from its junction with U21215 Broad Street for a distance of 103 metres westerly direction and then in a south westerly direction.

Reason: Dropped kerb vehicle crossing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U21212 York Road (part), U21211 York Road, U21215 Broad Street and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 11 November 2024.

(U21628 Leasowe Road, Rubery) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U21628 Leasowe Road from its junction with U21623 Windmill Avenue for a distance of 99 metres in a northerly direction.

Reason: Installation of dropped kerb vehicle crossing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U21623 Windmill Avenue, U21612 Waseley Road, U21628 Leasowe Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 11 November 2024.

(U21249 Carol Avenue, Bromsgrove) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U21249 Carol Avenue from its junction with U21248 Cherry Orchard Drive for a distance of 32 metres north and for a distance of 65 metres in a north westerly direction.

Reason: Installation of dropped kerb vehicle crossing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U21249 Carol Avenue (part), U21248 Cherry Orchard Drive and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 12 November 2024.

(C2164 Stoke Road/C2164 Charford Road, Bromsgrove) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of Closure 1 - C2164 Stoke Road from its junction with A38 Bromsgrove Eastern Bypass to its junction with U21082 Fringe Green Close. Closure 2 - C2164 Charford Road from its junction with A38 Bromsgrove Eastern Bypass to its junction with U21031 Lyttleton Avenue.

Reason: Bridge works and carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Please note that there is no access for emergency services diversion route must be used.

Alternative route: Diversion 1 - Closure 1 - C2164 Stoke Road (Clockwise): A38 Bromsgrove Eastern Bypass northbound, A38 Bromsgrove Eastern Bypass roundabout, A38 Bromsgrove Eastern Bypass Southbound, B4184 New Road, C2164 Stoke Road (part). Diversion 2 - Closure 1 - C2164 Stoke Road (Anti Clockwise): C2164 Stoke Road (part), B4184 New Road, A38 Bromsgrove Eastern Bypass Southbound. Diversion 3 - Closure 2 - C2164 Charford Road (Northbound): A38 Bromsgrove Eastern Bypass, B4184 New Road, B4184 High Street, B4091 Worcester Road, C2164 Charford Road (part). Diversion 4 -Closure 2 - C2164 Charford Road (Southbound): C2164 Charford Road (part), B4091 Rock Hill, B4094 Worcester Road, A38 Redditch Road, A38 Bromsgrove Eastern Bypass.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 22 days (24hrs). Commencing: 21 October 2024.

(U21084 Ednall Lane, Bromsgrove) (Temporary Closure) and The County of Hereford and Worcester (The Crescent, Old Station Road and Ednall Lane, Bromsgrove) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1996 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U21084 Ednall Lane from its junction with U21080 Station Street to its junction with B4184 New Road and to temporarily suspend The County of Hereford and Worcester (The Crescent, Old Station Road and Ednall Lane, Bromsgrove) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1996 to allow access to residents and businesses for the duration of the Order.

Reason: New customer connection by National Grid.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Diversion 1: U21080 Station Street, B4184 Worcester Road, B4091 Hanover Street, A448 St. John Street, B4184 St. John Street, B4184 New Road. Diversion 2: B4184 New Road, U21080 The Crescent.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 21 October 2024.

(C2053 Earls Common Road, Stock Green) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2053 Earls Common Road from its junction with U43205 Hill Top Road to its junction with C2053 Cockshot Lane.

Reason: Drainage work by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2053 Earls Common Road (part), C2053 Middle Road, C2032 Middle Road to Himbleton, C2032 Himbleton to Middle Road, C2150 Goosehill Lane to Earls Common, C2150 Earls Common to Hill Top Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 11 November 2024.

(C2059 Woodcote Lane, Dodford) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2059 Woodcote Lane from its junction with A448 Kidderminster Road to its junction with U13605 Woodcote Green Lane.

Reason: Water connection installation by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2059 Woodcote Lane (part), A448 Kidderminster Road, C2017 The Village, C2017 Briar Hill, C2017 Drayton Road, B4188 Queens Hill, C2062 Bradford Lane, C2062 Dordale Road, C2059 Woodcote Lane (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 12 November 2024.

(C2142 Boreley Lane, Ombersley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of C2142 Boreley Lane from its junction with U40218 Parsonage Lane for a distance of 100 metres in a southerly direction.

Reason: Overhead works by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U40218 Parsonage Lane, A4133 Holt Fleet Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 23 October 2024.

(B4096 Alcester Road, Lickey End) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of B4096 Alcester Road from its junction with A38 Lickey End Roundabout to its junction with U21503 Forest Close.

Reason: New customer connection by Cadent Gas Ltd.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Diversion Anticlockwise: A38 Lickey End Roundabout, A38 Birmingham Road, C2159 School Lane and B4096 Alcester Road (part). Diversion Clockwise: B4096 Alcester Road (part), C2159 School Lane, A38 Birmingham Road (Southbound), A38 Bromsgrove Eastern Bypass Roundabout, A38 Birmingham Road (Northbound) and A38 Lickey End Roundabout.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: (Phase 1) 2 days (24hrs). Commencing: 19 October 2024; (Phase 2: 26 October 2024 to 27 October 2024).

(B4091 Worcester Road, Bromsgrove) (Temporary Closure) and the (One-Way) on B4184 Worcester Road (Temporary Suspension) and The County of Hereford and Worcester (The Crescent, Old Station Road and Ednall Lane, Bromsgrove) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1996 (Temorary Suspension (Part)) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of B4091 Worcester Road from its junction with U21080 Station Street to its junction with B4091 Hanover Street and to temporary suspend the One-Way relating to the section of highway on B4184 Worcester Road, Bromsgrove and to temporarily (part) suspend The County of Hereford and Worcester (The Crescent, Old Station Road and Ednall Lane, Bromsgrove) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1996 on Station Street from its junction with Ednall Lane to its junction with B4184 Worcester Road to allow two-way traffic to be able to access residents and businesses.

Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4184 St. John Street, A448 St. John Street, B4091 Hanover Street and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (16:00-24:00). Commencing: 20 October 2024.

(C2039 Frankley Hill Lane, Frankley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of C2039 Frankley Hill Lane from its junction with C2039 Egghill Lane to its junction with C2285 Boleyn Road.

Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2039 Egghill Lane, (into Birmingham), C2285 New Street and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days between 23 October 2024 and 8 November.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Footpath OM-803, Ombersley) (Temporary Closure Order) 2024

Order made: To close footpath OM-803, Ombersley for its entire length.

The Order has been made as a result of a lock gates replacement.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Footpaths Ombersley OM-631, OM-633, Holt Fleet Lane U40214, Holt Fleet Lane U40216 and vice versa. The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months continuing on from 22 October 2024.
