What is happening?

DENCHWORTH ROAD/THE MAPLES (GROVE) PROPOSED TRAFFIC CALMING FEATURE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & the Highways Act 1980 (section 90) proposes to construct the following traffic calming feature in Grove. These proposals are being put forward to help improve road safety for pedestrians by reducing the speed of motor vehicles in the vicinity of the new residential development:
- Raised Table (including 2 metre ramps, with heights of 100mm & gradients of 1:20) to be located at the Denchworth Road/The Maples/Barley Way junction, extending into each junction by approx. 15 metres.

Objections to the proposals, specifying the grounds on which they are made and any other representations, may be sent in writing to the address below (or via the web address above) no later than 15 November 2024. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
