What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF HILLINGDON
THE HILLINGDON (WAITING & LOADING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2023 (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2024
THE HILLINGDON (FREE PARKING PLACES) (DISABLED PERSONS) (AMENDMENT) TRAFFIC ORDER 2024

Hillingdon Council gives notice that it proposes to make these Orders to:
1. Install ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions in sections of roads as set out in the Schedule to this notice below.

2. Install blue badge disabled parking bays at the following locations:
i) Outside No. 12 Nine Elms Avenue, Cowley
ii) Outside No. 233 Ryefield Avenue, Hillingdon
iii) Outside No. 85 – 89 Maple Road, Hayes
iv) Outside No. 26 Brickett Close, Ruislip

3. Remove the redundant blue badge disabled parking bays at the following locations: 
i) Outside No. 11 Bideford Road, Ruislip
ii) Outside No. 85 Beverley Road, Ruislip

Copies of the notice of proposals, proposed Orders together with full details, plans and the Council’s statement of reasons for the proposals can be sent upon request or viewed online at https://www.hillingdon.gov.uk/improvement-schemes until 6th November 2024. Further information can be obtained by email parkingmanagementschemes@hillingdon.gov.uk . If you wish to comment on, or object to the proposals please write or email by 6th November 2024, stating grounds for objection and your home address to Transport & Projects, 3N/04 Civic Centre, Uxbridge, Middlesex UB8 1UW quoting reference 3N/04/16/10/24.

SCHEDULE – PROPOSED ‘AT ANY TIME’
WAITING RESTRICTIONS
YEW AVENUE, YIEWSLEY – Opposite the junction with Castle Avenue.
BOTWELL COMMON ROAD, HAYES
i) Extend the existing double yellow lines east of the junction with Beechwood Avenue by 22 metres.
ii) Extend the existing double yellow lines west of the junction with Beechwood Avenue to a point 9.7 metres east of the common boundary of No. 142 Botwell Common Road and No. 1 Beechwood Avenue.
MILBURN DRIVE, YIEWSELY – Extend the existing double yellow lines opposite No. 7 Milburn Drive by 14.3 metres southwards.
RIVERSIDE WAY, UXBRIDGE – Extend the existing double yellow lines between the western north to south arm of Riverside Way and the entrance leading to No. 32 Riverside Way.
BELL AVENUE, WEST DRAYTON – At the junction with Sipson Road and the adjacent service road.
SIPSON ROAD, WEST DRAYTON – At the junction with Bell Avenue, including the service road junctions.
CHAMBERLAIN WAY, PINNER – Extend the existing double yellow lines either side of the eastern most junction with Raisins Hill.
DRAYTON GARDENS, WEST DRAYTON – Extend the existing double yellow lines outside No. 46 Drayton Gardens by 1 metre.
JASMINE TERRACE, WEST DRAYTON – At the junction with Briar Way.
BRIAR WAY, WEST DRAYTON – At the junction with Jasmine Terrace.
EAST WALK, HAYES – Extend the existing double yellow lines outside Nos. 1, 2 and 3 East Walk.
