What is happening?
THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(VARIOUS ROADS, THE BOROUGH OF HINCKLEY & BOSWORTH) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2022 (BELLE VUE ROAD, HINCKLEY) (AMENDMENT 22) ORDER 202
THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 19, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, the effect of which will be: To introduce an additional School Keep-Clear marking outside Newlands Community Primary School, Belle Vue Road, Earl Shilton.
A copy of the proposed Order, together with a plan illustrating the proposals and an explanatory statement giving the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at my offices, Room 200, County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester LE3 8RA, at the offices of Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council, Hinckley Hub, Rugby Road, Hinckley LE10 0FR or on the Notice Board of Earl Shilton Town Council. Objections to the proposals, specifying the grounds on which they are made, should be sent in writing to the undersigned by not later than 6th November 2024, quoting reference KJ/HTWMT/5833. THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 19, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, the effect of which will be: To impose no waiting at any time restrictions along parts of Parson’s Lane and Mistral Close, Hinckley. A copy of the proposed Order, together with a plan illustrating the proposals and an explanatory statement giving the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at my offices, Room 200, County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester LE3 8RA, at the offices of Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council, Hinckley Hub, Rugby Road, Hinckley LE10 0FR.
