(PROHIBITION OF WAITING) AMENDMENT ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lincolnshire County Council has made an Order under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to remove some limited waiting bays and replace them with No Waiting at Any Time in order to facilitate access to the new Travelodge/Starbucks development.
Exemptions are included which will permit waiting for disabled persons’ vehicles and for the purpose of picking up or setting down passengers, loading or unloading of goods, the maintenance of the roads, and works in connection with the supply of gas, electricity, water and telecommunications apparatus.
The Order will come into operation on 18th October 2024 and a copy of the Order and a plan showing the lengths of road concerned with a Statement of Reasons can be requested. These documents can be supplied to you by emailing TRO@lincolnshire.gov.uk or calling our Customer Service Centre on 01522 782070 during office hours.
Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within 6 weeks after 14th October 2024 make application to the High Court for this purpose.
