(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF LANGLEY HILL, KINGS LANGLEY) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Langley Hill, Kings Langley from its junction with Langley Hill Close north eastwards for a distance of approximately 30m (“the Road”). An alternative route will be via Langley Hill, Vicarage Lane, A4251 High Street and Langley Hill.

The Order is needed because electrical service works are proposed to be executed near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 4 November 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF MUSK HILL, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Musk Hill, Hemel Hempstead from a point 14m north west of its junction with Honeycross Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 13m (“the Road”).

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because water service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 5 November 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF LANCASTER DRIVE, BOVINGDON) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Lancaster Drive, Bovingdon from a point 14m south west of its junction with Mitchell Close south westwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 43m (“the Road”).

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because water service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 4 November 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CROSS OAK ROAD, BERKHAMSTED) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Cross Oak Road, Berkhamsted from its junction with Charles Street south westwards for a distance of approximately 173m (“the Road”).

An alternative route will be via Cross Oak Road, A4251 High Street, Kitsbury Road, Charles Street, North Road, Anglefield Road and Cross Oak Road or via Cross Oak Road, A4251 High Street, Queens Road, Shrublands Road, Shrublands Avenue, Greenway and Cross Oak Road.

The Order is needed because sewer cleaning works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 4 November 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BOURNE END LANE, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER NO.3 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Bourne End Lane, Hemel Hempstead from a point in line with the southern boundary of No.18 Bourne End Lane north eastwards for a distance of approximately 20m (“the Road”).

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because water service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 4 November 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN

VARIOUS ROADS IN BERKHAMSTED, TRING, MARKYATE, KINGS LANGLEY

AND HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1.  That length of Curtis Way, Berkhamsted from its junction with Swing Gate Lane south westwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 151m. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

2.  That length of Gwynne Close, Tring from its junction with Elm Tree Walk south westwards, south eastwards, north eastwards, south westwards, south eastwards and north eastwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

3.  That length of Normandy Drive, Berkhamsted from its junction with Bridgewater Road south westwards, north westwards, north eastwards, south westwards, south eastwards and south westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

4.  That length of Cowper Rise/Cowper Road, Markyate from its junction with Buckwood Road north westwards, south westwards and north westwards to its junction with Cavendish Road, a distance of approximately 458m.

An alternative route will be via Buckwood Road, High Street and Cavendish Road.

5.   That length of Beechfield, Kings Langley from its westernmost junction with Great Park southwards, eastwards and northwards for a distance of approximately 281m.

An alternative route will be via Great Park.

6.  That length of Le Corte Close, Kings Langley from its junction with Langley Hill north westwards, north eastwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

7.  That length of Parr Crescent, Hemel Hempstead from its northernmost junction with Shenley Road south westwards, north westwards, south westwards, south eastwards, north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 437m.

An alternative route will be via Shenley Road.

8.  That length of Catherine Close, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Parr Crescent south westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

9.  That length of Aragon Close, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Parr Crescent south westwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 78m. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

10. That length of Northaw Close, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Parr Crescent north westwards and south westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

11. That length of Cleeves Road, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Parr Crescent south westwards, north westwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 224m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

12.  That length of Jane Close, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Parr Crescent north eastwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

13. That length of Peterlee Court, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Crawley Drive southwards and eastwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

14. That length of Mill View Road, Tring from its northernmost junction with Christchurch Road north eastwards, south eastwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 547m.

An alternative route will be via Christchurch Road.

15.  That length of Ludgate, Tring from its junction with Mill View Road north westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 4 November 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN THE COMMON, POTTEN END) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of The Common, Potten End from its junction with Nettleden Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 1200m (“the Road”). An alternative route will be via Gravel Path, Ravens Lane, A4251 (High Steet/London Road), A4146 Leighton Buzzard Road, B440 Leighton Buzzard Road, Potten End Hill, Waterend Road and The Common.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 4 November 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF WOOD LANE END, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Wood Lane End, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Mark Road north eastwards to its junction with A4147 Maylands Avenue, a distance of approximately 95m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Mark Road, Cleveland Road and A4147 Maylands Avenue or via A4147 Maylands Avenue, A414 St Albans Road, Leverstock Green Road and Wood Lane End.

The Order is needed because cabling works are proposed to be executed near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 21 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SHARPES LANE, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Sharpes Lane, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Pix Farm Lane south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with A4251 London Road, a distance of approximately 392m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Pix Farm Lane, Little Heath Lane and A4251 London Road. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 21 October 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
