East Hampshire, Multiple Traffic Notices, Temporary Road Closure due to Desilting and Cabling Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OLD ODIHAM ROAD/UPPER ANSTEY LANE, SHALDEN, EAST HAMPSHIRE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Old Odiham Road between two points approx. 300 metres North and 200 metres South of it its junction with Upper Anstey Lane. Upper Anstey Lane between its junction with Old Odiham Road and a point approx. 300 metres South-East.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Froyle Road, New Odiham Road, Orchard Lane, Basingstoke Road, Pertuis Avenue, Whitedown Lane, Butts Road, Draymans Way, Orchard Lane, Church Street.
DURATION OF ORDER: from 16th October 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 night, working between the hours 21:00 06:00). The Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Sunbelt Rentals Ltd to carry out desilting and cabling works.
