What is happening?

Temporary Road Closures – Various Roads, Countywide 2024 (No.44)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order in accordance with the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14 because of works on or near the road.

ROADS TO BE CLOSED: Those parts of the following roads:

  1. High Street, Totton, New Forest between its junction with Osborne Road junction with Rumbridge Street, including 50m into Junction Lane and its junction with Nr 45 High Street, just before turn onto High Street
  2. Farleigh Lane, Dummer, Basingstoke between its junction with Down Street and its junction with Farleigh Road
  3. Old Post Office Road, Minstead, New Forest between its junction with A31 and its junction with Seamans Lane
  4. Twynhams Hill, Shedfield, Winchester between its junction with High Street and its junction with Hospital Road
  5. Rhinefield Road, Brockenhurst, New Forest between its junction with Brookley Road and its junction with Meerut Road
  6. Eastfield Lane, Ringwood, New Forest between its junction with A31 Slip Road and its junction with Crow Lane
  7. Foxes Lane, Wellow, Test Valley between its junction with Broadwood Lane and its junction with Romsey Road
  8. Old Rectory Gardens, Rushmoor between its junction with Rectory Road and its termination
  9. Stubbs Hill, Steventon, Basingstoke between its junction with Ashe Park Lane and its junction with Stubbs Hill
  10. Coombe Lane, Sway, New Forest between its junction with Kings Lane and its junction with Pauls Lane
  11. Pondhead, Lyndhurst, New Forest between its junction with B3056 and its termination

  3. A31 From J M27 To J A338/B3347 W, A31 Trunk Cadnam to Ringwood Westbound, Ringwood Road, A31 From J A338/B3347 To J M27 E, Stoney Cross Plain Road, Newtown Road, Lyndhurst Road
  4. High Street, Hospital Road
  5. Brookley Road, Grigg Lane, Lyndhurst Road, Meerut Road, Waters Green
  6. Southampton Road, Christchurch Road, Castleman Way, Crow Arch Lane, Row Lane
  7. Romsey Road, Barnes Corner, Groves Down, Tutts Lane, Scallows Lane, Steplake Road, Wellow Drove, Dandys Ford Lane
  8. N/A
  9. Stubbs Hill, Ashe Park Lane
  10. Kings Lane, Pitmore Lane, Pauls Lane

DURATION OF ORDER: From 28th October 2024 for a period of 18 months. (This is the duration of the Order, not the works, which will vary according to technical requirements. Closure times and patterns will be indicated on site prior to and whilst the works are in progress.) Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
