Kingsway North Junctions, Gateshead - Temporary Prohibit Vehicles to the Construction of Raised Tables on the Highway
What is happening?
THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF GATESHEAD (KINGSWAY NORTH JUNCTIONS, GATESHEAD) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Borough Council of Gateshead proposes to make an Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the lengths of road listed in the Schedule below.
The Order is required to facilitate the construction of raised tables on the highway. The Order will come into force at 19:00 on 28 October 2024.
The maximum duration of the Order will be 18 months; however, the works are expected to be completed by 03:00 on 02 November 2024.
The prohibitions will be in place overnight between the hours of 19:00 and 03:00 on each operative day. During the works all vehicles (except vehicles associated with the works and emergency service vehicles on duty) will be prohibited from proceeding along the roads described in the Schedule below until the works are completed or at such times and to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the display of traffic signs. During the works there will be a signed diversion in place.
