Tunbridge Wells, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

TUNBRIDGE WELLS AREA

Etherington Hill, Speldhurst, TN3 0TS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow well works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Etherington Hill, Speldhurst, on or after 23rd October 2024 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Smallbrook Farm, between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Lower Green Road, Broomhill Road, Speldhurst Road, Etherington Hill and vice versa.

 

Furnace Lane, Horsmonden, TN12 8LX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow new water connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Furnace Lane, Horsmonden, on or after 21st October 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Kirkins Cottages. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Furnace Lane, The Heath, B2162 Maidstone Road, Yew Tree Green Road, Furnace Lane and vice versa.

 

Walkhurst Road, Benenden, TN17 4DS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow new water connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Walkhurst Road, Benenden, on or after 4th November 2024 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Tamarama. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Walkhurst Road, B2086 The Street, New Pond Road, Goddards Green Road, Walkhurst Road and vice versa.
