TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
WHERE AND WHAT: PROW K49 (Stour Valley Way) -A338 Wessex Way footbridge, between Riverside Avenue and Holdenhurst Village Road, Bournemouth, to be closed to all vehicles and pedestrians.
WHY: To ensure site safety while highway construction works are being carried out on behalf of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council in the Wessex Fields, Bournemouth area.
WHEN: Anticipated dates: 15th October 2024 until 14th April 2025 or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.
DIVERSION: Via Holdenhurst Village Road, Cooper Dean Roundabout, Castle Lane East and Riverside Avenue.

Restrictions in effect under this Order have been extended by 6 months with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport.
The Council regrets any inconvenience to the public caused by this traffic order.
